i used to think that tf2center was competitive
I played tf2 on xbox. For a week i tried to get all the maps and weapons i saw people use in videos. i had steam at this point and had like 600+ hours on cs:s so i dont know why i didnt just buy tf2 (this was a couple months before the free to play update)
Because the dispenser gives you health and ammo I thought the medigun would do the same so I would always heal the engineers thinking that gave them metal and thinking I was being a great teammate
-one time when i was streaming an esea match a bug flew in front of my monitor and i yelled and threw my headphones across the room
-when i went to toronto lan 2 yrs ago my pc had really shitty usb ports so i had like a 1sec delay on my mouse and keyboard so the whole time i basically couldnt play and i think i had worse stats with 0 ping than i get with 40+ ping

When I first got into competitive tf2 in mid 2012 i went on tf2lobby and joined a 6s lobby thinking i was good for topscoring in a pub once. I took roamer when I could barely rocket jump. 1-24 k/d i think. I got so embarassed i didnt play at all for a week cause I thought I'd get made fun of and never went on tf2lobby again. My teammates were actually kinda chill about it cause I told them I was new.
Then for my first actual 6s scrim I ran to mid on pocket rollout with the Pain Train and my teammates had to ask where I was.
Then I made a hl team with a friend and since i was playing on a shitty laptop I had 10 fps and shit ping. I thought we were hot shit for beating a ugc iron team that disbanded couple of days later. Team lasted for 3 scrims and then I joined another hl team as spy. I got one kill that entire match on gully.
This was years ago though. I'm still bad at the game.

i bought the overdose in the mann co store for $2.49 in 2012
Not realising the pistol is fully auto for probably 3 months.
I just couldn't comprehend how every scout was a god at rapid firing the pistol.
At least I can do this now http://puu.sh/z1vl4/e1a45b18e8.png

when i first got the huntsman, i would shoot arrows into the air (towards where the fights are happening) from near spawn expecting the arrows to come back down and hit someone. i would do this for entire rounds at a time, and when people asked me what i was doing i would seriously reply by saying "providing aerial support"
Not a moment but i was a pub-spy trickstab main that enjoyed muselk trickstab videos.
LMFAO
I used to think I was too good for this world to even try.
i used to think sappers couldnt be removed so when a spy would come to get my sentry and he placed it before i could kill him, i would just let the sapper destroy my sentry. this also translated to me not removing sappers from fellow engineers' guns.
Cyanictrying my ass off in hl before i knew 6s existed.
trying my ass off in hl (on engineer, no less) knowing that 6s exists

i was talkin to my brothers about which scout gun i liked the most after my first week of playing tf2 and i said i preferred the scattercannon
i spent around $20-30 on buying unique items from the mann co store

A girl called my work last week and at the end of the call I said "thanks for calling" and she legitimately said "aw you too". I couldn't help it and laughed, she said "you know what I mean, thanks though, bye" and promptly hung up. It was sadly the highlight of my day.
For my own embarrassing moment, I honestly don't know, there's so fuckin many. I guess TF2 related there was the time when I was super new to the game and honestly spent like 7 hours on Saigns Nightfall server (best map btw). All the enemies were bots and I thought they were real people. The amount of shit talking I did is definitely a little cringey.
