not related, but NRG picked up nahte from CLG. good pickup imo.
iodineYeah, ig rickeh would be aight. It all depends on team chemistry and how each player fits in, like you said before. Even nifty or more likely cerq might be a good choice, albeit the latter's slight inexperience in t1 play.
To me if you're picking up an inexperienced awper you probably look to a guy like Wardell or some of the top MDL awpers. Doesn't feel like the right play for Liquid though, no up and coming awpers in NA are really close enough, unlike when they nabbed twistzz. Be better off getting free agent post major.
OR you know, god Adren

Missed the QBF vs VP match wish I hadn't. Idk how VP could've fucked up that bad...
second time a former major champion has been stomped by an unknown russian team in a major/major qualifier
ghadilliSpu?????
mouz = russian ?
I think this is referencing when Vega crushed NiP for Eleague17 major qualifier. Since both QBF and Vega were lesser known Russian teams

g2 didn't lose against c9, who they always match up poorly against
suddenly, hope

G2 to get eliminated with a 2-3 records when there are no NA teams left to win against

that would make this the third time, since envy got stomped by gambit at Columbus.
and i think it's a little disingenuous to point at a performance from nearly 4 years ago as a reason that a team should be anything but underwhelming now.

VP is playing like absolute garbage this major, anyone got a clue why??

A few VP players were signed to 3 year contract sometime recently, immunity from being kicked, so they can kick back and relax getting their salary. Byali had 50 hours of cs in two weeks and 40 hours of PUBG in the same period. Simply disappointing from VP, seems like they have no motivation, they showed sparks of the old vp in their game vs c9, but ultimately, I'll be surprised if the org continues to stick w/ these players.

its not immunity from being kicked, its just that the players never wanted to remove anybody until recently. the way contracts work, there is no way an org would give players free money even when underperforming. that being said theres a few rumors that taz will be removed and likely put on a bench, which significantly pays him less. sad cause he was prob my favorite vp player due his class act.

they've been awful for the last like year and a half except for the majors. famously they never try online, so they don't qualify for shit, and when they do qualify for something they either bomb out in groups or make a really deep run and lose. they were signed to ridiculously long contracts and are getting to that age where their reaction times are slower (at least taz is). it's not just this major they're doing badly, it's every tournament. it's just catching up to them at majors now.

agreed 100%
that was one of the closest matches i've seen in quite a while, it's a shame that they got matched up against eachother so early though because I really wanted to see an SK vs fnatic final

I was rooting hard for Fnatic, but you can't take anything away from SK, those guys got nerves of steel.
