Tired of getting shit from other players who mash A/D and call me a noob,like,I have NO idea why my shots dont connect even though my crosshair is directly on them,and I really want to break my old monitor right now,can someone please tell me what the heck is going on?
I thought the hitbox bug from last year was already fixed,the heck's going on with enemy scouts doing this crap and they're basically ghosts?

If so you seem pretty new, I'd suggest looking at some fps configs such as: http://www.teamfortress.tv/42867/mastercomfig-fps-customization-config
The default settings are pretty miserable, so it's probably why you're having issues.

are u sure the crosshair is on them? maybe get ur eyes tested?

if they strafe shoot them from the side cos then they won’t move on ur screen

Use the same dumbshit strafing techniques, it can confuse the opposing scout. Make sure you aim with the strafe, because trying to aim at a scout mashing AD is usually ineffective

play cpma or quakeworld duels and use only lg for a while, it will help tracking

make sure you have optimized net settings if ur on default with cl interp 1 then your going to have trouble hitting things

ways to practice scout dm:
1. tr_newbots is a pretty good map for warming up, and it really helped me identify some issues with my aim, however mileage may vary due to the fact that you are still just fighting an AI, just with unpredictable movement.
2. mge against scouts, if you're worried about "getting shit" from scouts who just "spam A/D" then you're in the wrong mindset. Play to improve, and stop caring about the opinions of people who would do something as retarded as talk shit to people in a gamemode made for practice
3. play pugs as scout
if you do all of these things frequently, and you still can't hit shots on adada scouts, you're doing something wrong.
one thing though: "playing a quake game at some point in your lifetime" does not automatically qualify you for the title of "good at first person shooter video games"

most circle strafers rely on their strafes to aim for them so you can either :
1. circle strafe them
2. do long wide strafes
3. keep your crosshair in the middle of their strafes
4. get good idiot
