LMAO @ teachers getting spring break
It's like working from home for a week instead of going into the office. Spring break is when I do a combination of grading backlogged papers and praying I don't get laid off.

I'm sorry... I have 5 paid holidays this year and a TOTAL of 10 sick/vacation days (which we are forced to use 4 if we want to get paid the week of christmas since the office is closed). But you get to work from home for a week - sounds like torture. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON SUMMER.
(ps im not hating on you - im hating on myself)

:P in the long run, teaching really isn't that bad. It's definitely not any sort of walk in the park though. Between the absolutely garbage pay for young teachers, the possibility of getting RIF'd any given year, and the soul-crushing depression of teaching being nothing like what you wanted it to be, it's still pretty bad.
We do get summers though (where we can work a seasonal job because living on a teacher's salary is just plain impossible lmao)

ANY TIME THAT IS NOT SCHOOL TIME IS AUTOMATICALLY VIDEO GAME TIME.
Going home so that I can sleep until 1 pm, stay up until 4, play video games all the time, and never see my parents.

I dunno where it is in Boston but there's this really good soup place called Shabu Zen which is the best food you'll ever have.
They take a huge bowl of your choice of broth (plain or kimchi) and put it on this quasi-heater-stove thing at your table and you order shit to put in it like shrimp or noodles or beef or whatever.
It's amazing.
Also visit Harvard Square

I've never seen people so excited to come to Canada
Going home, doing laundry, chilling with friends from back home, resupplying my foodstocks for school, and then carpooling back up early and possibly going camping for the weekend before classes pick up again.
