y'all are sleeping on essentially (no pun intended) free decently-sized prizes seeing as there's no fee to register, and the more teams the more likely you'll play a balanced game since the groups are a swiss bracket! No reason not to play other than not having the time commitment available. Also a really good way to do some bonding/synergetic stuff with your team and just treat games like scrims
Edit: all you NA players should sign your teams up for this weekend too, especially you east coasters. time zone converts over to ~1PM-6PM EST and getting a pug team together is always litty

Only reason I haven't signed up for this one is cause I can't (as a main at least). Really really recommend these tournies, they are borderline the highlight of the month for me. Just put a mix team together with friends from a similar skill level and you should be able to take rounds off teams you weren't even expecting to (or get ground into nothing by se7en lmao). It's what I've been doing and it's bretty fun.

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks to all the EU teams that have signed up so far (and the one NA challenge team), at 22 it's looking pretty good. We've also reopened signups until an hour or so before the tournament for any last minute signups.

Now it's the turn of NA to step up to the plate and sign up for some games next weekend.

Also a quick reminder that the EU monthlies are the first full weekend of every month and the NA monthlies are the second weekend of every month. So keep that time free, get some good games in and show sponsors that TF2 has barely gotten started in esports.
