I just found out that I will be living alone in my house for multiple months, basically right out of secondary school. I don't know how it'll go but it's gonna be such a good experience and it means i can sesh whenever I want, no more figuring out free houses aha.

Exam went well.
Going to be making a fun oneshot DnD campaign which I'll DM within a week and a half. It'll be my first time DMing in DnD and i'm excited.
Staying up late and scrimming with my awesome teammates tomorrow to celebrate freedom now that exams are over.
Also going to be playing the new Path of Exile league which is looking really good :)
DMing DnD is fun! I hope you and your players have a good time when you play!

Finally stopped being depressed after almost a full year :)
It looks like I'm gonna win my appeal(?) with my university which is gonna mean I go from oweing them 9 grand to them oweing me potentially 2 years of free tuition, likely 1.5 which is mad :-D
really good buddy of mine told me that the breakfast/lunch joint he works at is in need of a server, I talked to the owner today at lunch and she told me that I would wash dishes/clear tables for half of my shift and I would serve for the other half so I would make minimum wage plus tips, work with one of my best friends, and only work Saturday and Sunday and never work late than 3 pm, still get 16 hours, only 3 hours less than what I get at my terrible job where I work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every week always closing and leaving at 10 pm.
im happy that even tho i found out about the comp scene relatively recently there are still tournaments and LANs to look forward to and that the community keeps keeping on.
im happy that ive gotten back into the groove of things after forcing myself to play tf2
for a while i just didn't want to play but now im actually excited to open the game every day again

Love my job, getting close to the 6week summer holiday and seeing good progress in the gym. Also grinding ratchet and clank on the ps2)
mom came back from holidays now i dont have to eat cereal and bagels for dinner
My life has been going really well recently, so I have a lot to be thankful for.
I'm really liking my summer internship, and I think I might get a full time offer for after graduation (I'll be a college senior in the Fall). I took a ~3 year break from gaming to focus on school, and rediscovering TF2's gameplay is a lot of fun. I'm in a pretty healthy relationship for the first time ever. Today I'm also going to build a small box garden to try to grow some radishes indoors with an LED light, which I'm oddly excited about. I've been working out consistently for about a month which is wonderful. Usually I try to start some lifting or exercise program and end up never sticking to it.
Also the weather in TN has been really nice recently, so that doesn't hurt

moved back to socal living with my brother, starting school in the fall. i feel like life is moving forward and i have such agency with my time allocation. after not living with my step brother or full brother for so long, i'm beginning to realize that i love having someone my age with common interests to bounce my ideas off.
i have a really cool team and we are doing well this season, feel like i am in an environment where i can improve with players that have a similar mindset
i have also stopped losing doom2 duels 20-0 which is great

i hate doing night shifts at work but on the bright side in summer the early morning has the best weather, the warmest sun in the cold morning air and the most relaxed work environment you can possibly get at 5 am. a slow sunrise over a cold early morning sky is probably the best thing that keeps me going in a night shift. puts me in a super good mood!
i love nice weather and a sweet sunrise.

-the open team I’m on isn’t dead and is actually winning a few games (shoutout to grapejuice for coaching us and making this thread)

Got Portal 2, which is pretty interesting and now my go-to when I'm not in the mood for TF2.
Also, I'm not sick anymore and its no longer dark and cloudy

I took a laxative and now my stomach isn't in agony
After I got up from bed I made this delicious breakfast sandwich and it turned out to be much more delicious than I expected it to <3
For anyone who's interested, the recipe is:
- Make garlic butter sauce (2 tbsp non-salted butter, 2 cloves of garlic roughly chopped, a bit of roughly chopped parsley and a pinch of salt. Add all to a saucepan one-after the other on medium-low heat till the butter is nice and cooked but not brown)
- Bread of your choice. The denser the bread is, the better. I used 2 slices of white bread. Use a brush to generously cover one side of each slice with the garlic butter sauce (be sure to get some bits of garlic and parsley onto the bread as well) and put the bread on a warm/hot grill pan, garlicy side down. As it's toasting, cover the other side with garlic butter sauce too if it's not a crusted side. Toast both sides nicely.
- Fry 6 thin slices of bacon to your liking. I cooked mine to juuust before they got crispy so that the sandwich could be tender and easy to bit into.
- One fried egg. Add salt, pepper any other seasonings as it's cooking to taste.
Slam the bacon and fried egg between the bread and you have yourself a sandwich. Would recommend keeping some ketchup on the side to dip your sandwich into c:
