Look, Uberchain did the right thing twittering what she did and she prolly has all the support right now of those who know her and read it. She shouldn't be afraid to name things since all this emotions the people feel after reading it should be directed at the people who told her the things she mentioned; not to the two idiots. You should report their twitter if you really care, they are being accidentally the perfect lightning rods with their comments .

“Let all the poison that lurks in the mud, hatch out.” and let the community take care of this. At the reactions here, they are more than willing to. Tagg mentioned all the names too, and people still remember who he named. Even if they are a "vital" part of the community.

Talking about stuff like this on an internet forum is always a recipe for disaster.

I think sac is just doing a bad job of making a few points.

Firstly, this is clearly awful. However we can see that both parties aren't completely innocent here. The things that uberchain has had to go through aren't something that anyone should wish on another person, but we are only seeing one side to the story.

We aren't the internet police. Its not our place to take action on any of these people.

Extending that, people should expect and be able to deal with a certain amount of badness in the world, not that said badness is justifyable, just that its a fact of life that people will say mean things to you.

That said I hope this situation finds a non destructive resolution.

I think the behavior a person displays on any platform can be taken as a demonstration of how they may act elsewhere. If people are willing enough to be horrible in one place, why should that be excused when noticed from another place?

Not saying it's going to fix everything, but toxicity is rife within our community and causes so many problems for so many people. This isn't a case of ''you said something mean to me on tf.tv :(((('' anymore, this is bigotry and harassment.

At any point neither of us have made jokes about sexual abuse. Should I have made clear that my picture referred to the "harassment" (people just being mean to her) and not the fact that she was a victim of a crime? Yes I have.
Does listing of mean words said to the person help anyone? No it does not. Words are easy to ignore on the internet and that's what I think everyone should do if they don't like what other people say.
I have empathy for her but in my opinion she's addressing it completely wrong way,
Mine and Pred's tweets were clearly jokes, maybe in poor taste, maybe insensitive, maybe unfunny, maybe fucking hilarious. Humour is a subjective thing. But that's what they are, jokes and words.
The worst thing is that there is more hate towards me and Pred than to the culprit.You are offended by mine and Pred's actions only if you choose to, you can just write us off as dicks and shitty human beings and move on with your day. Everyone should be disgusted by the fact uberchain has been a victim not by 2 people on the internet not being nice to her when she talked about it.
I distinguish between the statements where someone was just mean to her and where she was genuinely being abused or harassed and I don't think these 2 matters should be even considered to be equally bad or revolting things or even listed together. I support her in getting justice and getting her life back on the track after being a victim of the crime.
If you focus on bad things in your life your life is going to be bad. If you look at thousands of people giving genuine support and love and then see 2 people being dicks and making shitty jokes and what you focus on is the later you are going to have a hard life.

Do we deserve to be criticized for what we did? Yes we do. Do we deserve more attention than uberchain, people supporting her and the culprit? No we do not. But we are getting it.
