very rarely are people just naturally talented to the point that it makes a significant difference, most of the time they started at a young age
if i look at my friends list most of the people id consider to be actually talented players have a huge amount of time invested not just in playing tf2 but in thinking about it as well as other games
edit: also tf2s coming up on like 30 seasons and comp play has been so streamlined that learning/starting to play now is a terrifying leap onto a treadmill thats moving very fast

the fact that someone can literally make me freeze when they want in a 6s game by spamming binds that have dumb symbols in them or by joining with a retarded emoji name
also the fact that it takes 3-4 minutes every time to join a server
its fucking annoying when i get baited into joining mge an just as i get into the server a lobby/pug starts up and i have to waste even more time whilst my pc is practically stuck

Casual is such a shitfest. Now there's like a 80% chance that one team gets rolled by a stack that queues together and you can't balance the teams. TF2 at its worst

- the fact that a decent spy can farm a team in casual because somehow people dont hear their team mates screaming and can also not see the killfeed
- when people accidentally/unknowingly bait players into you
- projectiles colliding with team mates
- the vaccinator
- not being able to see through pyros flames
- the force of nature either does 5 or 500 damage
- bad map design/maps that need to be updated to the way the game currently play/maps that need to be abandoned as a whole/the overall lack of new maps/cactus canyon not being put into the game
