This has been on my mind ever since the last LAN, but I want to gather everyone's input on it.

Does everyone want group stage, still? As of right now, it's only used for seeding. Group stage adds on a couple of hours to the tournament as it is, and some people have expressed to me that they want time to do other things / play other tournaments / etc.

I feel like if there's a good-enough grasp on the skill level of teams then group stage might not be necessary, since the tournament is double elimination to begin with.

Also do we know if there'll be PC rentals?

We are still in talks with nearby places to try to make this a thing. No official word just yet.

Still interested in going but I've heard nothing about an ontario carpool, please let me know if something like this is in the works :)
