After the organisation's tenure sponsoring the French TF2 scene's vanguards top5rocket comes to a close, Ascent have now acquired the roster of the reformed sauna slayers for their European branch. The original team competed in Season 25 and took the fight to Crowns Esports Club all the way to Grand Finals with a team of AMS, Puoskari, Silentes, Murje, alle and Nursey (with the team tagged as Thanks Nursey by the time of the finals).

Three of those members have since regrouped with some notable additions including former two-time Insomnia LAN Champion Drackk on the Roaming Soldier and credu who was most recently a stand-in for Se7en during the time Thaigrr was banned for the last season of ETF2L Premiership on Scout.

Elacour, however, remains with the org, being the only Ascent.EU member left from the last iteration with previous members Opti, Néo, Médico, Corbac and Ombrack departing the organisation with Corbac already on his way to Faint Gaming EU.

We caught up with the last remaining French player about his thoughts on the new squad…

This team looks very promising on paper, I'm glad I have been picked by a team full of players that have already proved themselves. Expectations will be high this season with several teams looking quite strong along with Se7en.

Personally, it's the second time I find myself to be in a team realistically aiming at the league title (first one being Ascent.EU during season 29) so hopefully it all works out this time around.

Multi-tasking Medic Nursey was also on hand to deliver their thoughts...

My only goal with the Ascent.EU roster is to have a good time with my friend AMS and help bring out all the talents and dominating abilities I know the roster can have. This roster can prove to be a first place contender and while Froyo struggled with five ping against the euros I will slay with ease with 120 ping. (I kid)

As for playing with Froyo and Ascent at the same time, I don't feel too bad as the Ascent side of me is from across the pond. For LANs and and future ESEA seasons I will commit to Master Vincent as long as he needs me.
