With only days left before the season’s commencement, Faint Gaming have made another serious roster change. Exiting from the team are Scout catface, who has moved over to the role of the team's manager, and Roamer tojo, whose departure further dashes the organization’s dream of a long-term roster.

Keeping to the streak of bringing back former players, the organization have brought back phlps on the Scout role and introduced yight to the Roaming Soldier role. Coming off successful second-place finishes with Ascent last season, the new flank hopes to translate their new success and experience to their old comrades.

Offering up some insight to the lineup’s changes, team captain sandblast provided us with a brief statement.

While we have gone through many roster changes, we are still confident in our ability to fight for a playoffs spot. This time, hopefully, it is our last roster change, although at this point, who knows anymore; I could be next. I think the fact that FAINT is still sponsoring this team really shows how much they care about the TF2 scene, so props to them. Any other sponsor probably would have dropped the team by now, and Hobin’s been absolutely great to work with.

Regardless of the roster changes, we believe we can put up a fight against all of the current Invite teams, and we won’t abandon our playoffs dream. I think we’re all excited for this season of Invite, which is arguably the most competitive I’ve ever seen. It should be a lot of fun to both play and watch; hopefully, we don’t have to make another quote before the end of the season.
