ESEA client is freezing and crashing our demo's computer since the update and it wasn't before, she couldn't play in our match today because of it and keeps on getting the esea client is not open problem despite restarting and closing and opening. Do you guys know any fixes?

If your teammates care so much about their early-morning lives then why are they up late on a weeknight playing TF2 regardless? If a match went on long or your own team had issues they would also be up later than predicted. Just play the damn game the way it was meant to be played.
