Unfortunately, from what I know, the bare minimum upload required to stream is 1.5Mb/s. I think you could possibly get away with that upload speed, but your quality what have to be like Gggly level or maybe worse. I have 1.4 up speed and have always wanted to stream but just can't :(

my stream while i'm at my dorm is set to a 850 bit rate. My upload is 1 as well.

I used to have a 0.8 upload and stream at 800 bit rate.
Looked like shit, though.

There should be like a minimum ratio between down/up speeds

because honestly anything above 1megabyte/s download is kinda unnecessary
