Cannot hear sounds behind me

All sounds coming from behind my perspective are muted entirely. This issue continues to give me a severe disadvantage in-game when another player is attacking me from behind, I cannot hear their weapon firing or footsteps.

are your sound settings set to 7.1 or 5.1 in game? If so try setting it to 2 speakers or headphones.

Was set to 5.1, setting to headphones fixed the issue. Thanks
