not really, there's few basics like usual pet stuff. hedgies need a warm room of over 25°C (that's 77 F), if it's below 20°C (68 F) they can enter hibernation, which pygmy hedgehogs can't wake up from (they die:/ ). Also a big non-wired cage is a must, i keep mine free-roaming an entire room. They are nocturnal and run around a lot, so having a hamster wheel is only good for them :)
and for attention they actually need plenty, at least half an hour playing with them daily. they have to get used to you (your scent to be correct) and the more you play with them, the more they become friendly and trust you. also a cool thing is they can only get used to certain people in their lifetime, therefore only owners and they will never trust anyone as much as their owners.

look at that precious little nose. pretty cool that you give your hog an entire room rather than a cage. He must love that (hedgehogs love to roam). How do you deal with the poop in that room? I remember mine used to escape during playtime and live in my bedroom for a few days. Had to catch him at night when he was active.
can I request a feeding video with live food ^.^ like worms or insects

i have a small box full of fine sand and he's taught himself to poop in there. also i've put newspapers all around the walls on the floor just in case, although he rarely poops there and if so, only in the corners, idk why :D
one night, when he was smaller, he decided to slide under doors from his room and went to mine and straight up went into a sports bag under my bed and slept there for quite some time. found him after an hour haha
i already got a video of him eating cockroaches on youtube, here you go
