War & Sons bond together to fight off the competition

War & Sons, previously known as Wer das liest ist doof, are last season’s Division 1 Champions, moving directly up into Premiership. The name change comes after a roster mixup, leaving the team with a half-German roster, one disgruntled parental figure WARHURYEAH, and two more Englishmen.

War & Sons had a rocky start to last season, but managed to bring it together to triumph over Clarted in the Grand Finals. However, after losing core players Aidelos and clip, they’ll be looking to prove their new & improved roster coming into Premiership.

celvn and ever_x are the team’s newest arrivals to raise, having left Beyond Ora Elektro, a team which tied 3-3 against War & Sons in Week 3 of last season: losing Product 3-2, but ultimately winning against the Germans on Gullywash 8-3. celvn is an established Premiership player, having played Medic with current day Ora Elektro in Season 29. ever_x on the other hand is a new face to Premiership, making his debut this season with War & Sons.

To bring some more spice to the mix, War & Sons is also bringing counou into the family. counou played last season with the well-established Faint Gaming, before the roster’s unfortunate dissolution. While counou has been confirmed as being unavailable for several weeks this season, his transfer to this roster holds exciting expectations, as his sniper gameplay may also be what will push War & Sons to the next level.

stefaaan, the current leader of War & Sons and who has been a part of the team since its inception, was hopeful when asked about the changes & future of the team:

With some changes the new version of "wer das liest ist doof" is ready to stir up premiership. Personally, I hope that this team stays together a bit longer than the previous ones so we can actually attend future lan events. Our latest matches looked promising and I am sure we will make it into the playoffs. That being said, I look forward to the new season!
