Been on a stupid binge of negativity lately which quite frankly really hasn't been affiliated with TF2. None the less I've been bashing on the scene in particular so I wanna see some positivity. There's currently the your greatest achievements thread but I wanna see more than just achievements. I wanna hear about any of the fun times you've had with your friends or any slopes you've overcame during your time in TF2.
UnconsciousHere you go large one

I don’t play tf2 anymore and I haven’t played comp tf2 in more than a year now.
However I’m still good friends irl with many people I used to play with so I’d definetely say that’s a positive in itself and probably the best thing the game gave me.

I don't really remember how, but I ended up being invited in samiface's team and it's been the most fun and humbling experience I've had in TF2. Being naturally competitive, it took a bit to relax the urge to play well to win - we're not very good - but it's been very worth it.
By proxy I've also had the chance to hang in the eepily.cool/not dead doggo mumble and everyone's incredibly nice and funny, I literally lose my shit any time I play with the man eepily himself.
I hope your morale gets better Nurbery

when i was flying home from Copenhagen this April i landed in Toronto for my layover flight to Vancouver and when i was going through customs the customs agent asked me "so what were you doing in Denmark" to which i replied "I was playing in a video game tournament" the dude said "oh sweet, what game?" i said "Team Fortress 2" and this dude gave me a HUGE smile and said "thats sick man i hear the community is still going strong... welcome back to Canada" and man oh man i was so happy on my flight back home after that :))

I went from someone who almost didn't graduate high school to starting as a sys admin for a software company right out of college
and tbh tf2 is probably soul sucking but the regulated schedule of scrims/matches put some structure in my life that encouraged consistent school work/sleep schedule that I had never had in life

how did you do it. asking as a senior studying Computer Science (Software Development) feeling like I'm sinking in work and tf2
