this games is painful to play because i've only played it with friends now i have 0 friends
Allegedly the aim-assist when using a controller functionally snaps to heads for you which I believe I experienced once fighting against this one dude in SWAT. Dude was a machine
Otherwise the game is optimized very well, I put the game on the "Performance" graphical preset and didn't notice frame drops on my GTX 760 graphics card. Held out at 60 FPS (my monitor refresh rate) very well.

It's cool seeing the game after so many years. Unfortunately a console exclusive ported over to pc is just so lackluster in mechanics and fluidity it loses its replay value extremely quickly. I was hoping for some rebalancing or reworking to make use of the more advanced inputs you can make on pc.

ppl who complain are people that once touched halo and never got REALLY into it, i'm a proud virgin who spent most of my youth learning BXR and RRX on halo 2 in order to piss on people, you guys are no better than people who played 12 hours of team fortress 2 before moving on to play some shit like cs and then are like "tf2 oh i remember that game yeah i played it :P" stfu losers

I would rather get BXR'd 50 times in a row than play another game of High Noon slayer and have noone get close to eachother and just DMR from 100 feet away. Reach is fun but you really have to trim down the modes or you get flashbacks to Destiny 2 release PvP

really enjoying it. played like 12 hours so far. I do wish there was a play list for slayer without DMR starting weapon. I never played reach though before so I guess i don't have the nostalgia for the DMR that others do.
I think its great but #41 is right, High Noon with DMRs is literally the worst thing I have ever played.
Tino_DMR is hot garbage. Change my mind.
Its average at best in any non-TU gamemode, in TU gamemodes its the only weapon you should ever use besides power weapons

The range utility of the DMR makes it incredibly effective on some of the more open battlegrounds common in Big Team Battle. This leads to many engagements occurring at extreme range and can result in stagnation where players are discouraged from using certain movement options. Many players have requested that DMR starts be replaced with AR / Magnum starts in 8v8. We have concerns that this would leave players too vulnerable off spawn, leave them ineffective against vehicles, not provide enough starting ammunition, and lead to “snowballing” (where the score gap between two teams grows exponentially) when some players gain control of long range rifles. However, we wanted to give players a chance to try it for themselves. Depending on feedback and data, we’ll consider pulling Big Team AR starts into the core categories more permanently.

the Halo CE test period was previously set to come out in January but it was pushed back until this month (February) because Halo Wars 2 apparently needed extra patching/support
other than that, no dates or timeframes for the other games announced yet, but there's some progress announcements here and in the previous blogpost (scroll down)
