Heyo, almost caster of the season here
seeing as i head some actual twitch subs recently (shoutouts to all 4 of them) i figured i wanted to use disposable income for something worthwile like a better mic and while theres a dozen threads for this here already i figured i'll make a thread anyway just to see if theres been any new good ones since the last thread.
Pricerange is really just ~100€ preferably, current mic i have is a modmic for quality comparison, if anyone has good suggestions, let me know, wanna sound decent when doing casts this year :]

I think the Blue Yeti mics are really good. Is a bit more expensive, but I think they're pretty litty-witty on fire
ath2020 (the usb one) beats any of the blue mics and is roughly the same price
Blue Snowball sounds OK but is bulky (read: shit to transport) and the cable connector is absolute garbage, absolutely requiring a homemade fix (I used Blu-Tack). It also gets you flagged at airport security for a free manual check.
An XLR setup should be attainable with 100EUR and will sound better than a lot of the USB mics available.
USB AT2020 also sounds quite good.

Blue Yeti is a really good microphone, might be able to find one in that price range (used).
I have the blue yeti and while the audio quality itself is nice its really not great for streaming/casting, at least for me.
I've got it on my desk so it picks up keyboard presses as well as my phone when I put it down which can really lesser the quality of a cast. If you hit your desk and feel the vibrations pretty easily then the yeti is def gonna pick it up. If you're getting a mic arm that is attached to something solid then I'm guessing this won't be an issue for you.
Yeti is a great solution if you're getting into streaming/casting, but from my experience, it really only gets you so far.
edit: I got mine second hand after like 5 years of use and it's still going strong.

used to use an Audio-Technica AT2020 USB, amazing mic for the price.
don't put the mic on your table, please get a stand
#8 get a boom for it and lower the sensitivity of the mic. I've got a snowball and it only picks up my voice. To the degree that I don't even use push to talk, just voice activation.
Blue Yeti has great audio quality but it picks up quite a bit of my keyboard presses and in my case noise from outside (I live next to a street with an average amount of traffic during the day). I got it with the boom arm and shock mount (Compass, Radius III) from their website and bought a windshield for it, but unless I put it on the lowest possible gain it will pick up just about everything in Mumble or Discord. Would totally recommend if you don't have lots of background noise in your room and your desk is big enough for a stand/boom arm though, the audio quality is great.
