With the new year comes a new season of ETF2L and a few familiar faces too.

Pulling from a former iteration of Ascent.EU, the killer combination of Scout credu, Pocket soldier Josh, and Demoman Elacour had previously achieved a respectable second place in Season 29, behind Se7en. However, the team disbanded after the season due to several players going their own way and some choosing to play on LAN teams on the road to i63.

Among the remaining players on the roster is LAN and ETF2L champion Scout Thaigrr, known for his three seasons and two LAN finals with Se7en. Additionally, the team has picked up dmoule on Roaming soldier, whose long history with Josh on LEGO will certainly mean great synergy between the two Soldiers. Rounding out the roster will be the relative newcomer Jorge, whose sole Premiership experience comes from playing on goonsquad Season 33.

So far, the team has edged out last season's Premiership finalist Ora Elektro in scrims, and with pretty much all the required weaponry, this team looks to be the seasoning this ETF2L season required.

Teamleader and egg enthusiast credu had the following words to offer.

I’ve come back to TF2 after a break, because I was very burnt out. Motivation could be higher if there was some form of Se7en playing the season, but I think this season will be more competitive than the last one.

I like the personalities of everyone on the team, and they have been part of my TF2 gaming for a very long time be it on different teams and whatnot, and some have already played with me. Jorge not included - he was just a medic that I asked to play, and he had a great performance in our first games.
