riot dont exactly have a good track record when it comes to making games that are decently balanced or making "special abilities" that arent either completely useless or insanely obnoxious
at some point theyre just making a cs clone with all the parts that make overwatch not fun and why the fuck would you want to do that

i mean i hope the game is good but modern FPS games are made to appeal to dogshit players that think they can outplay their opponents using "advanced strategies" (gimmicks and press q to win) and this trailer pretty much confirms that the game will include a lot of horseshit that isnt fun to play against

ill give this game a shot, and if it actually gives me more than 40 average frames a second, then ill try my best to be good at this game and see if it works out for me. this is an amazing opportunity for everyone so far to test out the potential of riot!

Seems interesting but isn't going to have much retention among the Overwatch playerbase because it's much more DM focused and the abilities aren't nearly cheesy enough (the abilities are functionally just CSGO nades with a MOBA skin). That being said it will definitely have more longevity than Diabotical

abilities don't seem amazing, apparently the testers were spamming abilities to just test them out and pasha 30 bombed while playing "normally"

good tactical shooter qualities like inaccurate shooting while moving, high weapon damage and spray patterns

ults are looking extremely worrying but apparently you only get the chance to use them once or twice per game (?)
also likely will be kept for ult economy instead of using them instantly

i mean yes obviously they're literally just doing what they did with league (copy dota, make the game easier, etc) but you can still make a game look good....and have it run well.

I guess they're attempting to carry over the league art style in a way over to this project but i dunno

i don't like how the smoke screens and stuff all look paper thin it really feels cheap

Movement like in CS except no counter strafe and it's slower. Game mode literally CS. No projectile guns, only hitscan. Completely random spray after the first 8-9 bullets. Seems like just an easier version of CS with crutch abilities.
