That’s something I might have for lunch but as a secret. Not sure why he’s telling everyone about it.
Anyway in terms of food I think it goes like
France > Italy > Japan > China > India > Spain > Korea > Carribean > Singapore > Germany > Thailand > Mexico > Malaysia > Turkey ... USA > UK
Not sure about some countries like Russia and Scandinavian places because I’ve never tried that or even seen it. I’m sure everyone would agree that the French did the most for food globally, and that the UK and USA have the worst food world wide.
The UK being worse than USA thing is because a lot of the British meals seem to come from a place of poverty, whereas the USA ones are just simple and lazy. They are both simple and lazy, but British meals seem outdated.
Both the UK and USA population mainly eat meals from other places, as in the USA mainly eat Mexican food, as far as I know and those in the UK mainly eat Indian food.

Finlande and Portugal have great food as well. Just a matter of taste but for food, it s sure EU > US.
If you want to die and/or blow out your arteries southern food in U.S. is the way to go.
Tastes great though.

The Italians invented pizza, the Americans made it better, but the best pizza in the world is from any random kebab shop down the road owned by a Turkish mobster anywhere in the UK

Go to Italy and try a pizza from a good, authentic family owned restaurant. It's incomparable with anything else.

Getting advice from someone who knows the area is very worthwhile. Food at tourist hotspots is always worse.
The best meals i ever ate were Spanish, and there's nothing like some locally brewed patxeran to end a great evening.

Pizza in Italy is decadent. The Americans got pizza and turned it into a junk food. End of story.

Traditional UK food is fucking garbage, there's a reason why curry is so popular here.
Not only that you only need to visit a place like Birmingham, Hull, Stoke, Grimsby or any fucking place to see why things like Cottage/Shepards/Meat & Tatie/Steak & Kidney/Ale/Shit pie is so popular, when you live in the dullest place on Earth you're afraid of anything remotely exciting.
Even though we have a decent quality produce of foods it means nothing when you slap it in a crust base and put another crusty top on it and slap it in the oven.
