for non-chain restaurants there's a local place around here (Syracuse, NY) called Zebb's that has fucking cosmic burgers and an entire burger topping bar, its actually sick IMHO the best burger joint in upstate NY

A couple of TF2 players and I used to meet regularly in London to eat burgers, I think we've tried at least 10 places, in my opinion the best were Honest Burgers and Bleecker Burger. I think Honest Burgers' chips (fries) are actually the best tasting food ever created too. If you go to England you must try them.

I've been to the US once in my life, and i ended up trying a good amount of famous burger places... But the one that stood out the most, was Shake Shack. God i miss that :(
