depending on your laptop model it can be either in bios settings (something like "function key behavior") or there may be a manufacturer's software to control such things

The graphics preview is now here! 2.1.5
- Added config previews. Each config selected is now provided with a short description, screenshot and a list of pros and cons (tell me if inaccurate or missed something).
- Fixed custom binds executing before tweeaks & configs
- Added sounds: a pack of generic hitsounds including Fortress Forever hitsoud, drunk shade screaming, steeve, some old tagg's highlights and more
- Fixed overwatch sounds being hitsounds in killsounds section
- Fixed an error when fast class changer could conflict with broesel's Crosshair Switcher
Still looking for feedback, bugs and typos reports. Thanks for using my thing!
GitHub pages is having a technical difficulties for an unknown period of time.
Use this mirror to access the site
working again now
swankError: Ajax error for /cfgen/cfg/c_toaster.txt : 503 Backend is unhealthy
It says this when I press "Generate config"
True.
This is temporary GitHub hosting issues, should be back up soon, for now there is nothing I can do besides waiting.
https://status.github.com/ Here you can check if the problem is fixed.
edit: there is probably something I can do, one moment
Small patch 2.1.3
- Fixed fast class changer (will still not work well with crosshairswitcher)
- Added a warning about other than QWERTY keybard layout users
- Added a bit of text about how to wipe previous configs
VulcanI think your fast class bind is a bit messed up, i had to edit mine to make it work
Seems like thats also due to crosshairswitcher, I think I should make a different script for when crosshairswitcher is enabled.
edit: nope, its broken on its own, will fix soon
N3vosince you're already adding the no explosion script in the configs, would you be able to add support for vpk crosshairs?
Well, this is technically possible, but could conflict with crosshairswitcher, I will try to test it out.
Tiny update 2.1.2
- Added an option to disable nohats mod once selected
- Added an option not to use any graphics config
- Added warning for loud sounds autoplaying in hit/killsound select section
- Merged a pull request from SpennyTF, making launch options unchangable
Posted this to r/tf2, didn't expect that much feedback, whoosh.
ah, the mouse sensitivity polemic, it never ends
you will most likely recieve the same answer as a lot of people - it's up to personal preference and all comes with practice
I use constant in-game sensitivity and switch it to lower for hitscan and higher for projectiles with button on my mouse. someone else is using low sens for all the things and has a 2 meter mousepad and a separate table for hand and mouse.
sageCould you specify that "comanglia for high quality pcs" is only for quad core or higher
Yes, I'm planning to add a short description for each config, as well as some pictures on how TF2 will look like.
HoppsI suggest adding the overwatch killsound
Added overwatch hit & killsounds
ShpeeismeHow do you get this guy to say this stuff? Do you get audio clips sent to you after you pay him or something?
http://bigtyrone.com/services/order-custom-video/
you can even make this guy to sing a song / speak foreign language / wear expensive costume for additional 30$??
huge business right here
Kinda big update
Changelog 2.1.1
- Full crosshairswitcher support - set any viewmodel and crosshair for any class you want!
- Crosshairswitcher and its customizing menu was moved to "Viewmodels" tab.
- Added nohats mod (complete and the newest one).
- Added a shitload of custom categorized hitsounds and killsounds you can choose from (feel free to suggest any popular ones, will add them there).
- Each hit/killsound autoplays on select (only if you have HTML5 enabled, aka "for any browser but Internet Explorer").
- Added complete Demo Support settings with explainations on each option.
- Added SourceRes.
- Added P-Rec (will conflict with Demo Support if enabled).
- We have now reached (and overtaken) tf2mate's level of customization.
- Changed the confilter tweak again, it now filters "Error".
Cosmetic changes:
- Added extremely fancy "loading" thing so you won't get bored while the page is loading.
- Small code cleanup.
- Unpinned top navigation bar since it was glitchy for lower resolution screens.
- Adjusted all the page elements so they do not turn into clusterfuck of page blocks on small resolution screens (you can even probably use it on your smartphone now).
- Grouped connection preset buttons into one block.
- Reached 2000 lines in main page code.
- Added visitors counter so I know at least someone is using my service.
Coming soon: crosshair preview (currently you don't see how crosshairs look), RGB crosshair settings, config preview (just a few pictures of how ugly/cool your TF2 will become), server config generator? I dunno, more stuff and tweaks. Please, give feedback, send me scripts, hitsounds, suggestions and nudes, thanks.
P.S: If the page doesn't work for you, clear your cache or press F12 (on Chrome) then go to "Network" tab and click on "Disable cache".
Should I include P-Rec in the next release? It still breaks Valve matchmaking.
guilhermeYou got some mad skills in JavaScript. I know this shouldn't be the subject of this post, but your page is so beautiful that i couldn't' pass away the opportunity to compliment you. ;)
Thanks!) It's pretty funny to hear that since this is literally the first time I'm using JS to make something more or less useful. Basically, all you need to make a thing like this is Bootstrap framework (thats what makes it look nice) and google skills (I'm very unfamiliar with JS so major parts of this code are just googled solutions).
