#3 I have a list of nav meshes for TF2 maps. in Projects
aiera[https://github.com/WhyIsEvery4thYearAlwaysBad/anti-cancer-filter-lists]

That's an abandoned project. I should really archive that tbh.

#1 I have a list of nav meshes for TF2 maps. in Projects

I got bored some months back and wanted to work on nav meshes for custom maps, because I didn't see much custom-made nav meshes in a lot of type of maps.

I am storing my list of custom nav meshes here. If you credit me for the creation of the nav mesh, you are free to take them and use them in anything.

If you want to store the nav meshes as a VPK, there is a script named 'build_vpk.sh' that automatically makes a VPK of selectable nav meshes.

#8 Need Map Project Idea :D in Map Discussion
bloodsoupAimIsADickA map for nav mesh competitions, where people compete to make the best nav mesh potentially under a time limit, and then automatically spawn bots with some sort of trigger.yeah this is a good idea do it yeah lets go lets do it woo yeah

Yeah! I think it would be a fun competition for nav mesh editors that want a competition. Someone commented a similar suggestion on a 3kliksphilip video about bots, which is where I got the idea.

#9 Is it possible to get a stable 120+fps framerate? in Customization
seven1The reason he said no is because you are wrong here. [A i7-9700kf should have no problem running the game. It is a modern cpu with good overall performance.]

But yeah overclocking cpu and ram would help. No need to overclock gpu. Pubs are fucked sadly

Yeah that makes sense now. I think I was trying to say that TF2 is CPU based, so GPUs do not have as much performance impact. I didn't really check the CPU they use, so I shouldn't have assumed like that. Sorry bout that.

#6 Is it possible to get a stable 120+fps framerate? in Customization
dbkAimIsADickTo add on to turbochad69's explanation, since TF2 is CPU-based, it's likely that the CPU is not powerful enough to run TF2 at 120fps. TF2 is not optimized that well though, so it's unsurprising that the CPU is struggling,no

What?

You should probably disable the bot engineer building hints based on the progress of the cart or the point captured, because engineer bots keep going to sentry hints that are pretty away from the actual battles.

or I'm just overestimating the optimal distance to build nests at. lol

Also add func_nav_cost entities to ammo and health packs, so that bots won't run over them unless if they need it.

#1 Source Engine Nav Tool in Projects

Repo link.

I was disappointed that I could not modify area data easily; I was particularly annoyed that hiding spots could not be modified, so I made a tool to modify Source Engine NAV files. This tool is able to modify most structures of the NAV format.

Hopefully this tool will be helpful to Counter-Strike, TF2, and other Source Engine Nav Mesh Editors, since there is no easy way to modify hiding spots in game.

Note that the program is not complete yet.

#16 Why did you take a break from TF2? in TF2 General Discussion

I hyper focused on programming a Source Engine Nav Mesh editor, and also online school.

That's a nice looking map. I could make a nav mesh for this map, after I finish the pl_snowycoast nav mesh I'm working on, if you need it.
