Would love for the sounds to have categories, especially to separate out the legitimate purpose built hitsounds from the novelty ones.
Man props to the entire production team, and SPECIAL thanks to our good friend dashner. He pours his heart and soul into this and to get it yanked away at the last moment must be the most disappointing thing in the world for him personally. What I don't think we can forget is that he spent months and months prepping for this and his finger is all over the production, even if he had to hand it off to a the rest of the crew for the event itself.
Yeah, I got Singapore servers twice when trying to queue and I haven't played TF2 since. I was hoping to have some fun in matchmaking after putting down the game competitively but it's just nowhere near as smooth of a process of playing some overwatch or something like rocket league.
Proof that yes, froyo cares, at least a little bit.
Asia Fortress never had their own consistent streamers and casters. We were always willing to give a platform for people to set up on TFlive but instead we needed up needing to find people to stay up to the early hours of the morning in our timezones
If you want consistent coverage, you need to have local talent.
The whitelist has gotten insanely unrestrictive in recent seasons in pretty much all regions. The ones left are a small subset of weapons that actually break the game.
We should let valve fix those weapons, but there's no reason for us to expose ourselves to a terrible whitelist because "valve will fix it, promise". If anything we've been shown that valve are often quite slow with getting around to these things, so we could easily end up with multiple terrible seasons with bad whitelists, pushing people away from the game.
SkyRanger-TSARBUXRhettroMost news reports are kinda late
The more we get involved, the sooner we hear. With such a small staff, these articles seem redundant. But it's a good catch up and legitimizes any potential rumors.
Just my two cents.
This shouldn't be the same going forward! The AU squad has just recently got a new writer (hooray fozzlm) and all this stuff went down right in the awkward middle phase of the transition.
Fozz is gonna rock it from here on out and should have all the latest gossip as soon as it's available :)
loltfAlright, hope this works. So just bind 1, 2, etc to the player name?
Pretty much. You will have to manually change things when people are aliasing, but otherwise works just great.
There was a tool that parses and dumps a whole bunch of demo info to a json file a while ago, there might be a way to use that to make a script generator. Anyone remember what it was called?
BattlePointsAndKennethYou're still not saying who you are.
Apologies, but I'm not willing to publicly disclose peoples names online, it also doesn't make a difference, although if people are genuinely interested in helping out, you can PM me or contact me through steam and I can discuss much more detail about the project and who we are.
My name is Tom.
And my name is Kenneth Anderson. You can contact me at Kenneth@ozfortress.com if you're interested in reaching out to the local Australian community.
You're still not saying who you are.
DecapotatoriotbzShankyI'm not familiar with Faceit. What are the odds of AUS/NZ support? Because if this has AUS/NZ support I'm going to be all over it.pretty sure csgo has aus/nz support
It does. Yaaay, maybe AU won't be ignored in the competitive community someday.

fade-yes but how tf are leagues gunna find out you use this
You would be surprised what you can find through a demo review.
I'm pretty sure there are people floating around who come from a quake background that use scroll wheel for jumping. I remember that it helped with bhopping, but it's muscle memory for them now so they stick with it.
