poo decision death to weeb admin echo chamber
i didn't have -NoQueuedPacketThread enabled in my launch options and haven't noticed the hitching/stuttering since enabling it, although the problem occurred quite randomly to begin with. could ya link relevant documentation about the windows network stuff + net_queued_packet_thread for other tech savvy chaps to look over? thanks for putting so much work into this config, it's good to know someone is actively testing stuff out and explaining things for the rest of us plebs.
what's the default value for net_queued_packet_thread? i'm experiencing a similar problem, dunno if it's that setting or another, but i've only begun having that problem since installing this config.
Tino_Razor arena. Literally free $$ and yet it died off because no one actually cared
Razer arena didn't die due to lack of participation at least not in Europe. There was a fixed budget allocated for the weekly cups which ran its course, the larger tournaments prizepools were secured on a per-tournament basis. Both Razer and the platform devs were pleased with participation in the larger tournaments and open to further support.
eu pugchamp pro never got off the ground because the requirements to play were much too strict and never changed, seemingly due to tsc/erynn not having the time to work on making the changes. looking at pickup2/eu pugme there has always been interest for an invite only pug system in europe, perhaps less so now due to the playerbase being unaccustomed to having such a service available.
if anyone does choose to take on the work for an invite only pug site, it really doesn't matter if it's automated or captains pick - just don't make the initial requirements to play so strict and inflexible that the player pool you draw from is too thin to assure activity. also don't give sideshow admin and allow him to unban himself for the duration of your sites existence.
