FACEIT were "impressed" by the numbers because we were the first hub to get any attention, that's mostly because no other CSGO community had picked up or even heard of hubs yet. Mythic League had like 3000 subs last time I talked to one of their devs (6+months ago), that's half of the entire TF2PL registred playerbase paying $5 a month.
TF2PL was a nice attempt, I appreciate all the work that everyone involved put in, it was not successful.
Even though you considered it to be a failure, do you think with a couple of changes to the platform it could be successful assuming that the mindset would change if the changes were good enough to warrant the new mindset?
I personally believe that it could work with just a couple of changes. It seems to me that we are having more open games more recently that just a month ago. I feel like with a couple of changes more people would actually feel like adding up.
