In all seriousness though, props to Mr Dane for doing the dirty work of promoting 6s.
reasons you are wrong:
1.) ESEA brought IM back and has more teams than I believe ever, even in s15 when main was introduced they capped at 85 teams throughout all divs, While the current season has 111 teams
2.) ETF2L this season added 2 new divisions by splitting their high div into Div 1 and Div 2 and adding the fresh meat division below their previous lowest div open.
3.) There has more non-tf2 related sponsors coming into tf2 for at least a couple of seasons now. Examples being Fable, Twisted Sin, Faint, Velocity. of which Velocity is staying for this season sponsoring both invite and IM.
edit: not to discount the tf2 related sponsors such as ascent, svift, kings crew, TFCrew, omni5

Didn't you also cut glastig?
a.) coaches dont cut anybody. its up to team leaders and the actual newbie team. we just try and find replacements/keep their team from dying and help them learn the game.
b.) glaistig and the team decided mutually to part ways because the team wanted to scrim sunday and monday and glaistig wanted to focus on hl more. the team didnt want a maincalling pocket to be missing 2/5 days a week so they looked for other options. glaistig did leave of his own accord and had an option to miss only monday given by jarett but he denied both. he also would have been put onto a team with other hl players had he included those time commitments in his avilability which he hadnt done so we put him on a team with 5 players who wanted to play every night due to not being informed otherwise.
