StormyIt's alright... A 7990 is kinda overkill if you are trying to stay in a 800$ budget.
You should read that again, it's a 7(7)90 not 7(9)90
-edit-
sent you this earlier on steam
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1kPhk
kept the CPU it's alright for what you want
changed the video card to a 7770 GHz Edition since I am pretty sure you will not be playing much other than TF2 + it doesn't cost much different than a regular 7770 it's also $50 less than the 7790
CPU cooler is different, as I am uncertain of the original coolers quality from your OP
Samsung 840 series is better or just as good and cheaper than the OP
The Rosewill Capstone-450 is probably the highest Quality 450W PSU on the market. The quality in this PSU far beats the 500watts even if it costs more.
144Hz monitor because you're playing a FPS competitively basically it
removed the keyboard as their is no point in a $70 keyboard in a build at this budget given the needs you have.
GeknaiirG400 + any weight to put on the mouse cord.
to expand on this, I used painters tape to tape part of my Cable to my wall while holding my mouse about 6 or so inches past my desk so I would have plenty of cable length.
apacWhat is the difference between the g400 and the g400s? I know the g400s is the newer model, but what are the improvements/differences?
EDIT:
Also, why prefer the g400 over the g500?
g400 and g400s differences
g400 goes upto 3600dpi, g400s goes to 4000dpi
g400s is made of higher quality materials (or at least they claim it is), that's supposed to resist skin oil. The sensor is basically the exact same minus the max DPI.
g400s has replaced the g400 so it's less likely for you to find a g400 from retailers.
g400 vs g500
Sensor placement, g400 is centered like 90% of all optical/laser mice ever. G500 isn't.
g400 is optical, g500 is laser
g500 being a laser mouse has slight mouse acceleration
g400 costs less
g500 does have an extra mouse button though.
After looking at the pictures of the Zowie FK, I am tempted to get one after my G400 dies, or I get tired of trying to Claw Grip a mouse made for palm grip.
The best top 10 I've seen in awhile. Alot of great air shot streaks, some great scout play from SteveC, and the Sniper streak holy shit...
Also that editting, the camera breaking + audio distortion was awesome and added some nice flavor to the video.
I got pretty bored today and saw the steamgraph for Dota 2 and decided to look at TF2
TF2 since steamgraph began March, 2011 I think?
http://steamgraph.net/index.php?action=graph&jstime=1&appid=440&from=1191214800000&to=1374642000000
TF2 since last July 24th
http://steamgraph.net/index.php?action=graph&jstime=1&appid=440&from=1343106000000&to=1374642000000
TF2 has grown in number of active users quite a bit, especially since F2P.
Regular Spikes of 22,000 Players before F2P
Regular Spikes of 65,000 Players in the Following Months of F2P
which trailed off to about 45,000 but steadily increased from their.
Currently Spiking around 75,000 on a regular Basis.
Large Updates Season/Really new content based ones get 100,000+ Players. i.e. Halloween, F2P, Winter Holidays, and MvM.
Wonder how much these stats will change now the people can't make 20 idle accounts.

PlatypusSetsulmicro ATX is a weird choice for such a powerful build.I chose an i7 because it's worth the 100 dollars to me to have hyperthreading in case i need it in the future. Mainly gaming. I chose MicroATX so the case has a slightly smaller profile on my desk, and i dont lose anything aside from some pci slots that i wouldnt use anyways.
With an i7-4770K this looks like an editing build but then there's no HDD and only 8GB RAM.
Answering these two questions would help a lot:
What are you going to use it for?
Why micro ATX?
Just some of us don't understand how you're going to do cable management which will be really important for a air cooled system if you do Overclocking. That and I am uncertain if CPU cooler will properly fit, or your video card for that matter.
-edit-
After finding pictures of that case, I am without a doubt a bit shocked at how well that is built for a Micro-ATX. Your build is basically perfect, except you're probably going way overkill with the GPU and i7.
I would take a guess at any weapon that got updated if used in a demo would cause a crash. Considering the new stats the demo would be using faulty weapons stats or knows that it would be using faulty weapon stats and thus stops loading.
Lemon- Fixed a bug where arrows and bolts would hit friendly players
:/ Huntsman nerf gone
MoyComanglia-Have a in game option to not see cosmetic items, or specific cosmetic items/slots.Not going to happen. Why would Valve give you an option to remove the things that they make money off of, and that is a big part of the game?
The number of people who would actually use this option would be extremely low, probably almost completely Competitive players only. The vast majority of the people who play TF2 will leave it on, especially considering how large the TF2 economy is I highly doubt this would break Valve's bank. + The majority of the people who would turn off cosmetics would be the people who play the game the most, and are the people most likely to bring in new people other than Valve themselves.
AzraelA spectator minimap would be cool as well. With an overhead view it would be very helpful for seeing who is in what position without needing to switch to their POV all the time.
I really would like to see this, but I question how well it would work on custom maps.
I though Valve was pretty clear they thought the current Meta in competitive TF2 is boring/stale. They want to see Soldiers not constantly running the exact same weapons 24/7. Escape Plan was used 95% of the time in 6s. In HL it was used 90% of the time.
They've also made it pretty clear they're not trying to balance the game around competitive 6v6.
zigzterToastyTHTFix shadows through wallsAs much as I love the free picks this gives, they really should've fixed this ages ago.
I felt hesitant to add it to my list of things to fix/improve/implement because this has been an ongoing issue with the source engine
