#96 Origins of Your Name/Alias in Off Topic

On the first computer I built, on the 1st day, this was the 1st virus I got. It was basically just a popup virus that hooked itself to explore.exe and would popup "Comanglia!!! Comanglia!!! Comanglia!!!" and if you would close out of it 2 more would appear, and 1 would appear every 10s.

Oh, and it would make all web browsers use some form of Chinese for the language.

Eventually I reformatted my computer, and my friends and I got together and had a LAN party and I had to name myself something for when we played CoD2 and didn't want to be "player", and I just kinda kept it since then.

Got it from winRAR

http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR/9241...890490-90.html (one seriously unhappy downloader)

and yes I do have that copy of winrar still

#10 iBuyPower supporting eSports in Off Topic

From the looks of it, they're not going to be sponsoring teams at all, and are focusing more on Casters/Casting Groups. So I HIGHLY doubt they're sponsoring a team, maybe ExTV or something like that.

tranchemusicSuddenly UGCleague doesn't seem so shitty

uhh...

enigmar4ptureAlso maybe UGC 6v6 will finally start getting people.ComangliaESEA or Infinite, I vote CEVO.Sedosjust as I was about to sign up for open...when the community drops support for ESEA (or the other way around), the game will die overnight

just sayin'

ESEA not being involved with TF2 wouldn't Kill OzFortress, ETF2L, UGC, or CEVO. TF2 could still exist, it would only die if people who actually played and widely recognized LIKE YOU gave up on it.

r4ptureIf only leetway supported tf2.

Some people need to poke at them to expand beyond csgo.

Also maybe UGC 6v6 will finally start getting people.

ESEA or Infinite, I vote CEVO.

also interesting things I've found

synchroI think the best part is lpkane being lpkane and just laughing it off like it's no big deal. It really is unfortunate that this is the only way we can keep TF2 going.

This wasn't just tf2 players... everyone who uses the esea client was affected.

#5 inches per 360 in Hardware

I think their's at least a dozen of this exact thread already I'll post mine anyway.

12in/360 I changed to this one like 4 or 5 days ago?, before that it was roughly a 9in/360

I've used alot of sens ranging from 2.7in/30 - 21.6in/360

This to say the least is a BIT disturbing. -edit- sorry this pun was to good to pass up.

Honestly, I am glad I never took part in esea now don't know if I'll ever sign-up for esea after this either. Personally I feel that ESEA owes their subscribers more than "$280" which the subscribers have no way in knowing if it was that amount or more. Not to mention they did shorten the life of every gpu involved, plus increased everyones electric bill without prior notice.

This is almost as bad as what Infinite would do. (if not worse)

CEVO might just have a chance at becoming a top-league again if people get upset enough over it.

-edit 2-

People might be able to sue for Damages to hardware and increased Electric bills. What their ToS does is cover their asses from people suing for their subscription fees, not damages / increased cost of maintenance (from using their client as intended).
