Was going through some old spreadsheets I made and found one where I found the mouse weight of most/all of the CSGO pro players. I pulled the data in April 2016 so it's not 100% up to date, but it did make me thing about mouse preferences for players and was curious about how TF.TV felt about it.

I had to make some rough estimates here or there and looking over it it looks like for some of the guess work I typically chose the lighter version of a mouse ex. "for the Zowie-EC?-A I used the EC2-A weight" which is the lighter version of the EC series mice so this likely brought my overall average mouse weight down a bit.
Average Mouse Weight 94.84g
Users over 105g-------------------------16.58%
Users over 100g-------------------------32.62% (includes users over 105g)
Users between 90g and 100g------33.69%
Users under 90g-------------------------27.27% (includes users under 85g)
Users under 85g-------------------------12.83%
The common convention I've seen is that lighter mice are typically considered "better" but the average weight and considering how large the number of users over 100g is it makes me reconsider if that statement is actually true, or perhaps my data is to narrow or only reflective of games where the vast majority of users have 14+ inches per 360 and there isn't exactly insane movement going on.
What's your preference or thoughts?
