turtsmcgurtswhat else is there to this problem? just add a exception in the code for the unlimited arenas, so that their score increases but doesn't actually get checked up until the queue empties or something.

must be missing something here

If you make fraglimit in the mge_spawns.cfg file 0 then it just lets you play forever/with no fraglimit.

also #41 I believe they said they were planning on turning off elo

just fixed the bug where particals weren't getting removed when you dropped the ball, and made dropping the intel a little more realistic/made it easier to drop it on objects. Gonna work on time limits for arenas before I release this update.

just played 4 games of it in my own server and nothing broke so I got no idea whats going on. Currently the only way mge can do win/lose is off of scores, but a timelimit on the arena vs caplimit is something I can add if needed. the jump to grab the intel should only be at the very start/after players cap which can easily be fixed in the mge_spawn.cfg.

I honestly have no idea whats going on with bball.iT right now since there are no error logs and I can't reproduce any of the issues with capping on my own server. conductor said hes gonna try a full reinstall of sourcemod/metamod/mge so hopefully that fixes it....

bball.iT is now updated to 2.0.5 let me know if there are any further issues. Just as a note, you can drop the intel on the hoop right now, but because of the way the hoop is its actually pretty hard to do. Since there's nothing in the center of the hoop model for you to stand on/drop it on it will fall straight through if you try and drop it there. Hopefully I can get with the map maker to figure out a way to make dropping it on the hoop easier.

you could put the new version on, as it doesn't change much/was tested enough that it shouldn't break everything. But I got an error log today that concerned me and now that #21 says that it looks like somethings wrong with the mod as it is. Could someone send me the error logs of bball iT so I can find out whats breaking? (assuming at one point you could cap as red in 1v1 arenas)

SincostanJust played it on the iT server. A few differences I noticed:

-Can't drop the intel on the hoop.
-The intel does not sit on the ground so you have to jump to pick it up no matter what.
-The bounds for taking the intel are also a bit smaller than usual.

These things are fixed in the newest version of mge, just waiting on someone to test it before I release it.

Sincostan-I noticed some spawn lagging - that is, spawning and then a second later being respawned.
-You can no longer "dunk" on these hoops.

Not sure the spawn lagging can be fixed as you have to be spawned, then teleported to the correct place on the map, and I have no idea what you mean by you can't "dunk" on these hoops.

#11 More places to hoop - ideas/help wanted. in TF2 General Discussion

I've been trying to work out some of the bugs with mge bball, so far these are the things that people have told me they wanted changed:

-intel hitbox is too small
-You can't drop the intel on the hoop
-You can pickup the intel instantly after dropping it

If there's anything else that needs to be changed feel free to let me know. Right now I've got the intel to be the correct size and dropping correctly, but for some reason it keeps dropping through the hoop (but not the backboard pole). Hopefully sometime this week I'll figure out why it doing that and get these things fixed.

#3 Fantasy TF2? in TF2 General Discussion

I've been playing around with the idea of making something like the fantasy proleague that teamliquid does http://www.teamliquid.net/fantasy/.

Would be a really simple concept it implement into tf.tv imo, but I don't have very much experience in web dev and the season has already started now.

Also some kind of feature that lets players predict results of upcoming invite/prem matches and get points in return/lets them track their progress/correctness in predictions would be cool.

And honestly its better if you get put into bronze after placements, its more fun beating bad players and working your way up then getting put too high and losing more than winning. Ladder rankings/divisions also don't really mean shit until you play ~100 games so if I were you I wouldn't pay any attention to them.
