Blizzard fucked me over on the ladder. Was in high gold for a few seasons. New season started, I did my placement game and rolled a diamond player... Got put in bronze. Haven't played since.

I've only played the Starter Version, honestly I don't think I'd have the time to get better at it to invest in a copy.

Placements in hots are fucking dumb, played 4 bronzes shit on them play top masters get shit on decides gold is where i belong
Don't like hots zerg, mutas are cool and all but when you dont get spire you lose now for the most part

I used to play all the time back in the WoL beta and early 2010 ladders but then took a big break around the end of 2011 when all of the foreign players couldn't do shit. I've gotten back into it and I am in plat 1v1 as zerg, though all of my builds are completely outdated. I just rely on macroing harder than my opponent. Doesn't work that well.

Just got HoTS. Placed in bronze after placement matches.
Now my MMR is so high I only play plat players on ladder. lol

And honestly its better if you get put into bronze after placements, its more fun beating bad players and working your way up then getting put too high and losing more than winning. Ladder rankings/divisions also don't really mean shit until you play ~100 games so if I were you I wouldn't pay any attention to them.
