Landing on the spire fence is only permitted to preserve fall damage. Any other instance of using it, especially prolonged use, automatically gives your mother the big gay.
In a soldier 1v1 the soldier who just died is allowed to jump before being shot at.
In a soldier 1v1, especially in granary mid, the one who just died has the obligation to jump the surviving one, not the other way around.
If you have enough HP to jump, you're obligated by law to jump. Don't camp the ground.
Play fast, play hard. Train reactions that will actually be of use in game.
If you're delaying, evading, hiding, playing slow or conservatively you're doing it wrong.
Don't counterjump.
Don't pre-fire, use mantreads or direct hit on endif.

Are your cfgs set to ANSI or Unicode?

Set them to ANSI. Check autoexec.cfg and default.cfg and make sure they're where they're supposed to be. Could be an issue with steam cloud.

Disappointing if true. I've always admired the ETF2L staff's resolute integrity in dispensing punishment left and right to offenders, regardless of their status in the community. To see this falter, especially in the most important time of the league, is worrisome. I suspect they'll use the argument that the 2 month ban means more if they put it into effect at a time which forces Thaigrr to skip a full season, with the motive that this applies the "full punishment". It's an argument I'd agree in most cases, but this is not one of them. Premiership playoffs are too big of a deal. I don't recall if ETF2L still offers monetary prizes for Premiership winners, but if they do that only further aggravates the problem. More than just following the rules this is also about the integrity of the league.
