empty_setHKI mean no disrespect, but posting logs from lobbies is more likely to hurt your chances than help them: no matter your performance.
Play with your UGC team, be friendly, network. Soon enough if you aren't scrimming people will be asking you to ring. It keeps going from there :)
Thanks for the advice. I was just looking for something with a little more substance than saying 'bump'.
Not a bad idea. I don't see too many people report on what they've been improving on - I'd give that shot as a bump method.

What's different about TF2 compared to CS:GO that would make up for your lack of passion for CS?
Not trying to challenge you at all; just curious.
Edit: I should read the whole post before responding.
You're basically just sitting there, shouting into the void saying "I want to be lucky! Please, someone make me lucky!"
Gotta earn it bud.
Seems like the car is the only item you've got to work with. Did you give the police a description of the car / license plate?
If his car has an embedded GPS, the car company might be able to find the location of the car. It's a long shot, but it's something.
Did he take anything of note with him? Something he might leave behind, or use (ie. candy wrapper)?
It hurts to read people shit on this guy when he's clearly doing the best he can.
I've been there. All I can say is that situations like these are valuable learning experiences. You won't be able to please everyone, so you have to gather a lot of information and make the 'best' decision. That's really hard!
I'd have a conversation with the leader/s of your team and explain how you feel. Ask for their opinion on what you should do. I only see three scenarios:
-You have an attitude problem (unlikely)
-Your teammates don't have the same goals as you do (very likely)
-You don't like the game (unlikely)
Be honest and vent your frustrations, but make it clear that you're staying because you like the players on the team, and that in the end you want what's best for everyone. That very likely is you leaving the team.
It's likely that you want to get better at a different pace than your teammates; in which case gggly's advice is pretty good. Focusing on individual skill will make it easier for you to be picked up by a better team next season.
In the interim, start marketing yourself as a ringer/backup for other teams. Nothing beats getting playtime. If you don't enjoy playing with these other teams, then taking a break / quitting is probably the right decision.
I'd say only go to Fanueil Hall once... it's a quintessential thing to do when you visit Boston, but you can get food just as good (or better) elsewhere for less. The live music around the area is usually pretty good though.
To add on to what Rez said:
If you like Italian food, hit up the North End. Regina's pizza, while touristy, is also very good if you've never had the style of pizza before. Someone more local can probably point you to better pizza places.
Whenever I'm in town I go to Al Dente. I'm sure I haven't been to every restaurant in the area, but this is the one I've liked the most.
If you aren't moving from a city, you might be struck by the smell of "The T" (our subway system). As cities go the smell isn't that bad, but if you aren't used to Subway travel it will take some getting used to no matter where you move.
I'm from about 30 minutes out, so I don't have too many fond memories of being in the city, besides visiting and stuffing my face with good Italian food. We have some top notch museums: Museum of Science, MFA, Gardner, Museum of Bad Art, etc. I also recommend walking around some of the colleges in the area - lots of nice campuses.
Also if you're moving here long term, congrats on picking the state with perhaps the best education system (primary and secondary).
Oh and if you like soccer, too bad. The Revs are all the way out in Foxboro, and the commuter rail doesn't run for Revs games.
Make sure to check out r/boston, they do a good job of posting goings-on, concerts, etc.
There are also more Bostonian gamers than I thought. Do I smell a LAN?
TomSSThese two gents casted a few games during the dreaded sticky nerf period, and since then I haven't seen em do it together again. The cast I saw was one of the best ones I've ever seen. Maybe it was partly because of how silly the game they casted was, but their chemestry was amazing. They cracked jokes and laughed and you couldn't help but getting caught up. Anyway, I'd love to see them work some more together, this time ofc more serious matches.
Have you seen them cast? Opinions? Do you want to see them do it again? Discuss!
I recommend watching Lange + Seanbud casts. Rare, but always a treat.
etherFrom my experience AMD cards have this micro stutter problem. I get 300fps and sometimes it will just micro stutter for no reason at all. The only way to fix this is to restart your computer and even then it might not help.
Do you havea 7xxx series gpu?
Nope. 6670. I've noticed the same thing though, and it isn't easily reproducible.
etherYou wouldn't happen to own a AMD card?
I have the same issue as OP and I do have an AMD card. Are they prone to this?
shadeThe mobile site will take some re-configuring. I think it is broken on mobile, Steam browser, and Internet Explorer right now.
I could be wrong but I remember hearing that the steam browser is just a re-skinned version of IE. Can someone confirm/deny?
Either way I would prioritize mobile over IE/steam browser.
