Seagull's demo review was the most helpful I've ever watched.
I'd definitely donate more $$$ to the i52 campaign for him to do a few more.

Should be interesting. I'd bet it leans toward the left in the US, as a large portion of the following are urbanites. The other large group are immigrants, who also tend to vote liberal (although for different reasons).
WARHURYEAHPeople need to look at the bigger picture, demoman could now be used as a utility class, which to me is very exciting. I'm looking forward to the new things that could spring up.
I am still sad that I can't be a pocket demo any more.
If it's a utility class, what class would you run full time? Sniper (boring wait-for-a-pick-fest), heavy (more viable if it isn't taking so much damage from demos), pyro (no)?
My only complaint is that I was most effective waiting for someone to everextend in a push, putting stickies behind them, and then detting for near full damage as they backed up.
Sticky traps were just as useful as they used to be; they would be cleared 90% of the time and the other 10% of the time I got an easy kill or two.
During pushes in I would throw stickies where I thought people would be in 1-2 seconds... this was useful maybe 1/3 of the time.
In other words, to be useful, I played a style that I found really boring.
As a not very skilled demo, I have to think that other newer players might find the same thing, and get turned off to the class or the gamemode.
Air's really cool
Hate to be that guy, but will VODs be posted to the youtube channel?
StarzZLooks like Brazil earned it in the end
How did they earn any of that?
Since when do people that have accomplished more than you owe you anything?
Played medic in a lobby with him and he asked for all the heals "because scout's the best class" and continued to act entitled the entire time.
Still top fragged by a lot even after I stopped healing him; dude is seriously good at clicking on things.
Fix the attitude and understanding of the game and he'll be off to a good start.
plinkoDon't know anything about this guy, but I like his name.
We should hangout
Just got an Asus VG248QE 144hz monitor. I have an AMD Radeon HD 6670 Graphics Card (I know, I know...)
Anyway, when I change my monitor settings from the default 60 hz to 144hz (or anything above 60, for that matter), it says:
"Cable Incorrect. Please use Dual Link DVI Cable."
I am, however, using a Dual Link DVI. Haven't found anything useful on google (yet). The card claims to be capable of running 144hz...
Any ideas?
Edit: Mixed up cables. I'm an idiot.
excellent video gamer and better person +1
Edit: Some stuff came up so I probably won't have time to play or even back up this season.
Been playing this video game relatively casually for 2 years; just kinda playing with friends on stupid UGC teams (6s/HL). With the incoming arrival of my 144hz skill enhancer, and with an easy course schedule for my senior year of college, I'd like to play at a slightly higher level.
Experience:
-3 seasons starter all classes 6s Steel/Silver
-3 seasons starter heavy, demo, med, engi, scout, soldier HL Steel
-3 seasons back-up all classes 6s Steel/Silver
About:
-20
-Male
-I value gamesense and decision making over DM
-Will focus more on DM if that shows to be my biggest point of improvement
-Not a weeb
-Communicative (will let you know far in advance if I can't make something, will talk a lot im Mumble, etc.)
Scout:
-Most played
-Pretty good off-classer (all of the usual ones except spy)
-Experienced with a passive, support push role or an aggressive 'get buff and click on things' role
Demo:
-Occasionally screw-up rollouts
-I tend to play pretty close to the combo, could likely drift away more
Soldier:
-Pretty solid rockets
-Below average jumping/strafing
-I tend to be a bit passive on pocket, am watching demos to identify times to be more aggressive
Medic:
-I'm uncomfortable not main-calling when I play medic, looking to work on trusting others
-I encourage pretty aggressive play from my flank when I'm playing medic. In a lot of cases I'll give my scouts a buff and encourage them to go make space/plays
-Improving clockwatching, uber tracking, and related small tasks
I'm a pretty relaxed dude but I am serious about performing well and improving. I'd like to find a team of like-minded gamers in open to start or backup for.*
*Slight preference for backup role
PS: Been going as Plinkooo for like 1.5 years but have yet to get my name changed
As long as you're OK having a 150 dpm scout, I'm probably interested. I can also pocket but I'm shit at MGE. I'll message you when I get home

If you aren't limited to Java, I have some other ideas:
-A website that displays the weather in multiple cities, allowing you to show off to your friends that you're on vacation (might already exist)
-App that rates parts of towns based on yelp / google reviews of establishments in the area. Can help if you're trying to decide what area of a city to stay in, for instance.
-Generate crosswords from fb/twitter activity of a random friend
