the (c)opium story
Millennium Prize-worthy problem right here
I’ll pledge the million if someone can figure it out
I think paying the AC would be TO get more people on the staff. Based on what we know of the AC job, it sounds like it's a tough job and clearly, there aren't many people offering to volunteer. And it's also extremely important. So paying people to do AC would be a win/win
Ye, I'd much rather be paying for a service (RGL running the league) that actually ensures a good quality of life for playing than getting a small return if I make top 5 or something but having to deal with cheaters half the season. It just makes playing so awful and uncertain with regards to what will happen
It seems pretty clear that the RGL AC is overworked and because of this is unable to process the amount of cheating reports in a manner that gets everything done in a timely manner (eg. before playoffs). Would people be against sacrificing some of the prize pool in each div to allow RGL to pay people to do AC? That would (hopefully) increase the number of people working in that department and allow the reports to be dealt with more quickly. The prize pools are already small anyway, and playing with cheaters ruins the experience for like the entire div. Just a thought.
no guys, he's legit, he just forgot to record (again)... right?
Waiting for Official Statement by WhatABurger.TF!
bracket reset is even harder for the lower bracket team to win than bo5 map adv tho
I feel like these games always feel pretty lopsided because they ARE lopsided-- the quality of the teams isn't that close, so it feels like it ends before it really gets going. If you had equally matched teams, the chances of winning 3 maps before the other team wins two wouldn't be THAT unlikely, but the reason you never see it is because the UB team is usually significantly better (in many of the recent RGL seasons).
Pick/ban advantage might make better viewing, but I'd wager a lot of those times it will just end up 3-0 or 3-1 and not be very close anyway. You should be rewarded with a significant advantage for not losing a WHOLE SERIES in playoffs. Pick/ban adv is not equivalent to losing a whole bo3 before, so that is generally considered too unfair for the UB team (u lose one series and u lose playoffs, other team lost one series but they are still alive)
T1grokyaaaWould you also say the same about t1grbiceps getting 75%+ acc every log now?
OMG 5
but could he do it on a rainy day in Kent?
so far half the div has gotten smoked by pyro and huntsman
