I use 4:3 simply for FPS, I'd use 16:9 every day of the week if I could get same performance.
So just testing it for the first time, I notice there are random people requesting control even though I did not share the link with anyone to view it, does this mean they are viewing the session I am in right now?
Also how do I get rid of Control request icons?

If you don't at least have some thought about how to handle these questions, you should quit now. I like the idea of like a UK based league but you see in EU most people can speak English, so it doesn't really work to exclude nationalities. If you did say a Russian newbie league, it'd be different as only Russian speaking countries would apply.
Could be an option to have a link or a page somewhere for those new to comp TF2 visiting the website?

my first interaction with him on the Archimedes cup was an experience I won't forget any time soon. I was hoping we could arrange some sponsorship, I was hoping a few keys or something, Geel casually says "I could give you like $2,000", I nearly choked on my tea!
Geel is professional, intelligent and extremely generous, the right sort of fit for Saloon.tf to help take it to the next level. I can only imagine Geel & co's influence to be a beneficial thing for competitive TF2. More numbers, more viewers, more money and more support for TF2.
I encourage everybody to give Saloon as much feedback as possible during the changes in order to gain the best service possible from the website because I think it's going to be huge for this scene!
One cannot express how much Cherry has done in his short TF2 tenure for competitive TF2.
Gravely missed working with him, though I did nearly fuck all, I respect his intelligence, attention to detail, talent and stories of drunken adventures.
Good luck to Cherry in the future, hopefully he can refocus his talents on TF2 soon.
REM_TF2GentlemanJonCocoforcocopuffs is having a go at a payload map, so non-payload might be Lakeside or if you're feeling brave cp_steel. Steel might be one of the HL maps that would get some heavy strategy work on it so it and it's also pretty big so would need to be a good job.
The issue I can see with cp_steel is that it's got so many narrow corridors that are all really important that it's nearly impossible to get one screenshot of say, the E point which could show all the areas. Even a birdseye view of the E point wouldn't quite suffice because it doesn't show the C-E connector area down the stairs, the area outside of the RED spawn door (which is enclosed) or either of the sniper nests.
I think you would need maybe 2-3 screenshots for the more complex/enclosed points and maybe only 1-2 for easier points like B which would probably be doable with 1 screenshot thinking about it.
I'm not around for most of the day or evening today but I'll have a crack at it tomorrow if you like, hit me up on steam and we can talk some more :)
EDIT: I got bored - here's my attempt at cp_steel, no doubt some of these will be utterly useless/shite but hopefully you'll like some of them. The later ones in the list are better because these are listed in reverse chronological order and the later screenshots are niche pictures of little nooks and crannies like the RED spawn exit to B or the C-D connector, hope you like some of them!

I am sure strategy meeting at Blizzard is a lot more detailed than as described above.
One thing they will need to keep competitive TF2 players other than money will be LANs, if Overwatch becomes an event at the big LANs, then that will guage more interest than any amount of £££ thrown at the game. Throwing money at something doesn't work, I think the marketing directors at Blizzard a little bit more intelligent than this.
Back to the topic, I think we might be the only team in Prem retaining 4/6 of our roster? Whats going on boys?
