I can't speak for DarkNecrid being involved in anything, but it is well known among UGC circles that there is a circlejerk of mostly banned people from UGC HL who are known to sexually harass women, trade nudes like pokemon cards and actively troll people and abuse admins. I myself seen some of them posting on UGC Discord, mostly laughable people easy to ignore, they have a discord where they invited me to attend, so I checked it out and got a stream of abuse about my girlfriend who was a UGC HL admin for many years.

Not 100% sure if these are the same people who trade nudes for fun though, but there is a huge amount of them in UGC buried underneath the chasms.

This is one thing about this thread that annoys me, that lot of people are on their soap box about Pr*d and though said was wrong and certainly upsetting for Uberchain, the victim and they got punished - There are and have been people actively doing FAR worse than him for a long time who have had nowhere near the same level of public witchhunting.

It's mostly just kids being immature, wanting to feel part of a group so think it's cool to do these things, for me and my girlfriend it was water of a ducks back really but there are people who certainly are what I would also call victims.

Problem I have with posting this I am so against public witchhunting because there are always other sides to stories, whilst I am assured there is evidence, nobody wants to take action about it, whether it's fear of using images to appropriate abuse, or whether it's a willingness not to ruin reputations of individuals or the league or just nobody really giving a fuck, I can't say. There is more out there and it' really hard to determine who is responsible for what exactly.

Good news is most these people are banned from UGC and they are shit enough at the game to never appear anywhere else of note except in their little hole.

That is a genuine tweet because I know these people and I know they don't care that much they lost money, hell when I was leading Lowpander, I couldn't pay half of them when we won some prize money. You're making assumptions everyone on that team is the same, I mean putting Mon or Krafty or someone in the same bracket as Pred is ridiculous. Mon made a post about it earlier in the thread as well, he doesn't need to apologize because he didn't do anything wrong, yet he's been retrospectively punished.

Word for what you're doing is called prejudice but without a racial or sexist or transphobic connotation, it's more just prejudice against a group of people for associating with a person who has done something unacceptable. This makes you (and by extension a lot of people) hypocrites. You won't want to see it for yourself though, but it's okay to be a hypocrite, it makes you human after all, just don't try and take a moral high ground here judging everyone from your higher position in life and dictating who deserves to be punished and who doesn't, because you don't know these people.

I get the whole apologize for your teammates message it's to save face when there is a potential backlash against you, I don't really care if 7 lose prize money or not in this situation, but sounds to me they did the whole thing as a preventative measure to avoid losing prize money which is understandable considering ETF2L admins been very inconsistent in decision making lately. I'd done the same thing in their shoes, not because I was sorry that Credu was an idiot, but I was sorry I was about to lose money because Credu was an idiot.

From talking to an ETF2L admin it is unlikely they will ban Degu or Pred as they never have got involved when someone competing in ETF2L has got involved on a different website making personal attacks, it isn't their job to Police anything but ETF2L. Ultimately decision remains in the hands of the Head admin Aoshi, he can make the decision to ban them on his own.

Got to remember this website is not the whole of the community same way UGC isn't whole of the community, or ETF2L isn't or ESEA isn't.

Down to them now isn't it. What Pred said was wrong in my mind and stupid but when you down the road of banning people for what is said on other platforms it is a dangerous precedent to set. Hence why to date, such incidents have not, unless I am mistaken, never been enforced.

With that all said if ETF2L don't reach the desired outcome for people, you are welcome I.am sure to boycott the league in protest, it may have an effect. I doubt many people here actually will, especially if there is prize money on offer.

I never ever openly called anyone a slur word, particularly a Tranny because it's a stupid thing to do. I just find it hilarious so many people get on their soapbox over this sort of thing consistently, I been in this community for 10 years, here is what happens: Kids say mean words to people, they grow up and realise it's stupid to say mean words to people (least openly, can harbor all manner of disgusting views privately nobody gives a shit if they are private) and then kids grow into adults and generally think before they speak. Rinse and repeat.

Nursey is the sort of person who can defend herself, people seem to wanna spend half their lives being outraged about some TF2 player name calling, if I spent my time getting outraged over every slur/name call I ever heard in every scenario I ever lived I'd be on my PC 16 hours a day, tweeting, posting on forums and Facebook then go to sleep, eat some food, have a shit and repeat until I die.

So keep posting this stuff, it keeps me amused at the very least in a boring forum.

LOL, I heard 10x worse before behind the scenes of TF2 orgs, hell most of it from me. This is nothing, little bit of criticism thrown by one outspoken person about the main organisation about at present.

Also on a point about TFTV, some of the talent who worked production on it can simply never be replaced, likes of Lange and Sideshow for instance, you just can't replace them and get the same quality overnight - Reason some people gone on to do similar things professionally. TF2 is a non-starter, as a game, as even a Semi-Professional game, nothing more than a hobby to anyone who hasn't worked out a way to trick 12 year olds out of their Mum's credit card - anyone willing to take a year out of work to try and improve it has my respect, no matter how they perform the task. All I know about i63 coverage is it was confirmed and contracts were signed very early with Multiplay, earlier than previous years and that was down to Wolf, what else has gone on I can't comment on.

Updates are nice and all but I don't see why they can't allow us to choose the older version, I had all my steam groups sorted for years
