I think it's OK to judge anyone on anything. But a lot of people just have nothing to prove. Lots of the wealthiest people I know honestly appear homeless because there's absolutely no reason for them to care about being judged. So really, I would say judging someone on their appearance is a little bit stupid anyway.

Think it completely depends on what aspect of motor racing you like, personally I think F1 became boring when all the cars became identical, any new ingenuity got banned instantly, and teams too scared to waste money exploiting design loopholes. But that's probably because I'm more interested in the cars themselves than the drivers and drama. Still entertaining to watch the highlights of modern F1 though.
