I wonder if the idea of a grenade launcher with projectiles that shoot from the center of the screen similar to how the original functions could be a popular thing if implemented

In my experience it doesn't work. Only the first command that's there can end up being registered by the game. It is entirely possible though that it's not that way in actuality but I'm speaking from my own experience in doing class cfgs

If you're making something that has more than one command, you need to put it within an alias and bind that alias to a key

Alias primary "slot1; r_drawviewmodel 0"
Alias secondary "slot2; r_drawviewmodel 0"
Alias melee "slot3; r_drawviewmodel 1"

Bind "1" "primary"
Bind "2" "secondary"
Bind "3" "melee"

If you also want different crosshairs (meaning the in game tf2 ones), you're also going to have to put cl_crosshair_file and the crosshair name (crosshair3 is the circle, etc)

Bind "q" "lastinv"

That should work

I guess it can be fine if you're spamming an area from a long ways away, but your opponent will know that you're going to be low on ammo loaded if they can capitalize on it correctly

Also I really wish that streams had a command in your options to be enabled/disabled on startup. Doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to implement and a lot more streamers would be getting more viewers. It just seems dead at times when I look at the tf2 streams tab on twitch

Still rather disappointed that you can't queue for games in the background, unless that's been changed. If it hasn't, I'm incredibly surprised that it hasn't been implemented yet. Although I still pray for the day that I don't have to use an fps config to get decent frames in game
