I really don't want to post this again on another "ESEA Whitelist" kind of thread, but it's been 4 months already and a couple of seasons have passed.
On this note I'd want to expand my previous points of whitelist changes I believe need to be considered:
Scout: Candy Cane - a very viable replacement to the Boston Basher, even though I doubt anyone will take the risk of taking a small pack off killing someone while being 25% more vulnerable to damage from explosives, it's a risk and reward kind of weapon which makes me think this could be a valid option to use and consider unbanning.
Wrap Assassin - oh yes, this is a projectile that the scout can throw, and oh boy, it's not overpowered unlike the rest of the stuff he can throw!, this is just a simple weapon that rewards projectile prediction and can be used properly, I believe this weapon is not overpowered nor is a straight upgrade from what we already have, so I see this as a very valid option.
Pyro: Phlogistinator - a weapon that is considered overpowered but honestly, will not find much use in our scene nor would it be overpowered, it can be used as a strategic weapon and allow the pyro to be more than what he has in store right now, not broken, overpowered or a straight upgrade, please consider.
Heavy: Brass Beast - many times I've wondered why is this even banned? it makes heavy a much easier target and also slow on spin up time, while the only upside is the damage, which I think is a bit cruel but it's a viable option, not a straight upgrade and not broken, so a valid option to be considered.
Holiday Punch - the only good use of this melee weapon would be as a very strategical play (kritzing the heavy while he punches the ubered enemies), or as a huge play for when a heavy reaches all the way behind the enemy team and manages to punch someone in the back and also kill him, is just a weapon that rewards risking yourself, and to be honest, if a player manages to pull that off, he deserves to see the enemy laugh, a valid option to be considered.
Warrior's Spirit - I was kinda amazed that the whitelist stated that it's banned, since I find it one of the most balanced weapons in the game, allows the heavy to use not only his primary to deal damage, kinda funny when you think of it but it's a valid option to use and considered.
Spy: Diamondback - allowed in ETF2L and allows the spy to do more while rewarding succeeding in a successful backstab/sap.
There are a few more weapons that probably could be considered but I stated a few of the obvious choices and a few ones that didn't get much notice and should, hope to see ESEA expanding the whitelist soon.
