This whole thing kinda blows, and I'm curious to hear if any of the other volunteers feel unease about the event as a whole. Not saying it's dead in the water and it's far from it, but the administration woes kind of leave a lot of us waiting around for direction.
Regardless I really want this to work out and I am sure the people working on it want the same.

Data analyst who works with 2D and 3D imagery, checking to make sure said data is sound, and making corrections as needed. Job contract doesn't allow me to diverge details since it's under NDA, but the I'm a contractor for Apple, a second-class citizen in terms of benefits but better to have some than none. The work is pretty easy to learn and I've moved up to train and manage small groups of employees, and it pays stupidly well for what we do. I am itching to get out since I've been there for 2.5 years and am ready to try something else.
Side hustle is that I sell fish and corals.

Pokemon Sword & Shield Gen 8

What intrigues me the most is the overworld and the Pokemon just out and about in the landscape. The whole aesthetic of the game in general I find to be interesting, makes me wonder what kind of UK-inspired stuff they'll have. For the designs they showed today I'm not 100% sold on most of them except the raven, sheep, and turtle but I'm sure they have some interesting stuff that just isn't revealed yet.
Not a fan of the whole dynamax thing, never was much of a fan of the power-ups in the recent games, seemed just like a big gimmick that doesn't change much of the gameplay.
