hookyhttp://www.twitch.tv/hookyboysb

Just leaving this here because I don't want to seem like an attention whore by making a new thread, and I guess I might as well post this here for when I've been streaming enough.

Also I made this design while watching PYYYOUR's stream so if it looks like that... that's why. :\ It's much better than it was before though, the BG made it look exactly like his. I'm thinking about changing the main font to that font Valve slapped all over TF2.

I dig dat_banner

lanskyThat's pretty cool idea, maybe everyone can use an "official logo"?
I edited the TFTV logo a little bit to make a "stream" version, you might have seen it on Platinum's stream info. http://www.twitch.tv/platinumtf2

PSD if anyone wants to edit it: http://localhostr.com/32LBnS7KoKHD

Awesome. Also helps to keep branding around even in offline images. I set mine up like this: http://gyazo.com/af5430decaaf2251922c050f86ac705a

1920x1080 image size for full player. (I think all 16.9 resolutions work, but don't quote me on that.

That's what I'd recommend, but make it fairly minimalistic and not take up too much screen region. I tried messing with the banner on the site and making that work, but it doesn't scale very well and starts to look bad.

I'd recommend everybody that's on the team page make an attempt to brand their stream, similar to this.

In the info section you can add any HTML you add to a personal channel, I believe. Let me look into it.

I can't partner any and every channel, as that costs infrastructure and bandwith. However, I'm willing to brainstorm ideas with the community to figure out a better way to draw more traffic in. I'm just here to help ;P

Been streaming tf2 forever and mostly stream scrims now. Don't want to do matches yet since I can't delay stream.

Now you can.

#6 competitive tf2 wiki? in TF2 General Discussion

The worst thing a community can do when it's trying to grow is seperate the competitive and public communities.

The reason TF2 can and will succeed as a competitive title is because the public community plays such a vital role. There is always a massive new pool of players that the competitive side of the game can appeal to. What we need to do is figure out how to pull that audience over, rather than seperate them from the competitive side. Something as simple as a seperate wiki may be a bad idea.

PYYYOURYo John

This is UNF, he was one of the first big streamers in TF2, and he cannot delay his streams for matches since he does have partner.

He has been asking for partner for months.

Would you please go ahead and make him partner. He deserves it.

Stream more regularly. The bigger guys need to throw their viewers his way. Then it won't be a problem. I want TF2 to grow and succeed, but I can't break the rules and get in trouble :P

Enabled delay feature though.
