absolute aids. defragmented hdd. created a partition. dl the ubuntu iso and formatted a usb stick. booted to ubuntu install. once i got in it was actually third world os from the lack of driver support
Menachem
k its on my flash drive. so im expecting to turn the thing on and go into the bios. set the primary boot to the usb and then ubuntu takes me from there right?
second question, dug around a little bit, to my understanding windows mouse sens 6/11 translates to 3 in ubuntu. as far as anything i need to be concerned with sens and raw input, is there any settings i should be aware of? so i cna tweak you know. i want the mouse to feel the same.
at this stage im just hoping my computer hears me threatening to replace so it will pick it up on the frames
first part of thread resolved.
now where are the linux people.
linux people point me in the right direction how to get my mobo to boot to linux
morre importantly windows mouse settings are 6/11 and im concerned the new os will not be the same so what now :/
the answer is either. yes, so far as its smaller it will still work in a larger slot
or no, it needs to be the intended size to work
