#181 Comp.tf - A competitive tf2 wiki? in Projects

Stats are in, after 2 + weeks there has been a lot going on. Although the initial momentum has died down over time and edits per day have really been lowering, the site still had a lot of content added in the short period. But we still need a lot of help from everyone, so if you have some free time and would like to help out, head over to http://comp.tf/, if you don't know where to start, head to our helping page http://comp.tf/wiki/Help:Contents where we give you directions so you can start helping out right away.

Stats screens (awstats had some problems and for some reason stopped updating since the 13th july, but visits so far have remained +/- stable since then)

This attitude doesn't get us anywhere. If you want to see us progress the best way is to help out not laugh at silly trolls.

I will try to implement GD library for automatic thumbnail generation, it's an alternative to imagemagick that allows me to avoid the host change, if everything goes right it should be working today/tomorrow

#6 Fully Charged Episode 34 in Events

Will be watching and suffer from sleep deprivation the next day at work as usual.

Would be really cool if you guys mentioned http://comp.tf, we're just starting out but we need all the community support we can get. For a 2 weeks wiki it has actually developed a lot since the begining

#51 First experience of TF2 in TF2 General Discussion

On one of those free weekends around 2008, I logged in to a server with a crazy custom map with no textures and close spawns, it was a spam fest, but I got like 10 achievements in 15 minutes and I thought, hey this actually looks cool!

It was only a year later in 2009 I bought the game and first time I remember playing something was engie on 2fort, man having stuff that killed for you was a blast at the time.

#5 Forum Update in News

I usually do this by going through the recent activity on my profile, but it doesn't hurt to have more options.

#102 Who got you into comp TF2? in TF2 General Discussion

Around in 2010 I Played in a portuguese pub pretty often, and these guys (coinz and haunter) were raping so hard, decided to look them up and found their frag movie, they were kind of a big deal, this fragmovie is still one of my favourites

Got a new pc / desk like 2 months ago, completely rearranged my room, much more free space, since I have a small room this is important for me

first was a temporary living room table, second has the desk I ordered. I can't believed how I endured all these years with a 34inched high desk, which is what I had before, my wrists were in pain all the time, much better now, still a bit too high I think

wow, this new stream page is awesome, although I wish we could still maintain the left sidebars or opt out of it

#5 New Build is ready to order, one last check? in Hardware

Awesome... Although I would buy 16gb ram. If you have such a beast setup some more ram wouldn't hurt, and believe me it helps alot when rendering video, modeling, and heavy programs like those... I couldn't possibly use after effects with 8gb ram.

Also, no storage driver? I would get a 1-2tb WD caviar green
