Just email them, open plugin was banned but it's possible some features are implemented in the future, IMO transparent viewmodels is one of those things everyone would benefit from, and an as an optional feature it wouldn't hurt anyone. Just email them, I have done it in the past when suggesting features

Hey, if you feel like helping out, http://comp.tf is looking for editors, a list of povs by class would be really appreciated
Jstn7477+1 to disabling shadows. r_shadows 0 gives a very noticeable FPS boost, like up to 10%.
I'm trying my ASUS VG236HE at 100Hz (it allows 50/60/100/110/120) and so far so good. I find the FPS drops more annoying than increasing my frame latency from 8.3ms to 10ms, and since TF2 loves to drop to ~100 FPS, it keeps things smooth.
But shadows are one of those things that give you useful information

Mind sharing?
Would like that black outline with a cross with dot
RakeKanecoI'm having this problem with an i7 - 3770k and a gtx670, well not that severe but with dx9 frames config I'm getting an average 180 fps's, which is quite strange, I should get like 500-600 at least. and I can only get those on mge
Well I easily get drops below 200 on a 2500k@4.7ghz, even down below a hundred on pubs. I wouldn't say that fps is surprising.
Well yeah, but the average fps with the maxquality config I was using was something around 140-150 and I changed to the dx9 frames config and only got an average improvement of 30 fps's? How strange?
Re-organized our to-do list, should now be much more self-explanatory and with the current templates linked.
If you are not sure where to start editing and adding content, start here

If you need help with anything just post here or add me.

The mod team was attributed custom rights on the wiki. You can now block users, delete pages, undelete, rollback edits, also protect pages and edit protected pages
Created a map template
comp.tf/wiki/Template:Map_infobox
You can see it in use here
Still trying to solve the thumbnails issue, it's a host problem
Went through all the pages in the wiki.
Here's a list with all the really incomplete / blank ones.
http://comp.tf/wiki/Missing_content
Added suggestions on what to do with them as well.
Keep in mind there's a lot more pages that haven't been created yet, you can also start helping by feeling those gaps, but if you feel a little lost just start helping us with these.
PlatinumMaybe they finally make granary sides even and badlands doorframes solid
I'm more worried about the rock bugs and edges where rockets do no damage at all. Spire and mid are full of them. The door frames are the least of my worries, in fact I even think they add a certain flair to the map
DroidsterThey also said they are fixing a lot of map bugs that can be used as sneaky hiding spots, how will this affect roamers :(
I have that fear yes, I feel valve might have gotten a little too confident in their decisions. What if the flow of the maps we all know and love (badlands, etc) are changed completely?
exciting news
FenIs there a way to submit pages for deletion
also this general thread should move over on to a talk page
I will look into it. Also will finish user rights for mods today and add a few anti spam measures since we just had our fist link spammer attack a few minutes ago (YAY)
maximan IRC channel is also a good idea
I'm not much of an IRC person but I think yeah a project of this kind needs one.
What do you think it's the best network?
AndKennethAgreed this thread should not be the place to discuss edits to a wiki. Wiki's have that functionality built in.
I'm just posting the important updates to the wiki, but yeah all the other discussion on edits should be done inside the wiki.
