LEGO isn't going to lan nor they had a 5k dollars fundraiser to take them there nor they represented an entire scene in this tournament. And much less bring in the stream numbers, your post is totally irrelevant to the situation at hand

But you're a single person who's already heavily invested in tf2 across all your different projects. Zowie is a gaming hardware manufacturer who supports various competitive scenes. And the exact kind of company we should strive to have a good relation with.
You might not care, a marketing department of a normal company would.

Ohh and not to mention this tournament was backed by Zowie (one of the few companies that cares about our scene) and I don't know about you guys but I wouldn't be too happy if the arguably most famous and most marketable team in the whole tournament dropped without any warning on the day of the tournament.

At least tomahawk is a very approachable person and I think we'll be all good regarding them but it's still highly unprofessional what happened today.

How can u justify leaving 1k people hanging for a tournament planned months in advance (and tailored to your schedule). A lot of people tuned up today, many of them to watch Froyo have a go at the top euro teams as an appetizer for i55 (and to be honest it's crucial to keep any hype we can get to i55 in light of the matchmaking update).

I have been noting times/frags all afternoon from most matches to make a i55 teaser/trailer and expected to gather a few froyotech frags to make a video representative of most teams (and both scenes), really a huge let down they don't even care to show up for a tournament.
ffc has been updating the wiki page all day with the tournament info as well (complete with logs for every map, etc)

Thank god for an action packed group A, otherwise this tournament would have been complete aids for both the viewers and the people in the backstage.
