yttriumKanecoremoved the blur at 7min entirelyNot worth rerendering for it, but one thing that might be interesting to take a look into would be a really intense motion blur in the sped up portion at 7min, fading it in and out as you speed up the clip, with a curve to the speedup rather than it happening instantly.

That was actually what I had done originally, like here in this video, but all the test renders I made and also this final render it seemed the effect for some reason got fucked in the process and it only caught half clip. Something is wrong with the blur plugin so I just decided to remove it alltogether, but I rendered again mainly because of the render issue at 4:12 that I noticed yesterday after uploading.

Thank you so much guys! After I've put so much work and time into this it really means a lot to hear all this amazing feedback I've received.

SimAny chance of a dl link?

I've finished rendering a 3rd time today, Fixed a couple sound bugs, fixed and removed the blur at 7min entirely and a rendering error at 4:13. I'll probably upload today although it's 3.6 Gb so I'll find the best alternative for such huge files and post the link in the thread when I have it.

#5 Competitive TF2 - Where to begin? in Q/A Help

Your best bet to play some competitive as a new player is tf2center, despite the site's controversy it still remains the best option for beginners.
After that and as you get more experienced there's plenty other pickup services out there like pug.me for na or tf2pickup for eu.

I would also advise you to pass by comp.tf which is a competitive focused tf2 wiki which can give you a very solid base of knowledge to the competitive meta.

As for deathmatching and improving your aim, I would recommend playing deathmatch servers or play MGE which is a 1v1 training mod that runs on a lot of competitive servers and is widely used by competitive players

About leagues, and since you're starting out you should look into UGC as it accommodates the lower levels of 6v6 in NA and also Highlander

arcadiaThis is so good holy shit. One thing I was a little confused by was during your kritz at 7:00 or so, where you speed it up and the blurring felt a little jarring. Otherwise it was really well edited and extremely nice looking. Very well done Kaneco

yeah really sorry about that, it took 3 hours to render, (and 1,5 to encode) I rendered and encoded 2 times, second time I missed those faults in the rendering. But in a near 10 mins video it's very hard to keep track of everything, I worked on it for like 30 hours last 2 days. There's some stuff Im not completely happy about but it's such a huge project I just wanted to get done with

Also sorry for the viewmodel glitches on some old demos (thanks valve), and a couple laggy frags.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwThwtDDWaI

Had over 500 demos laying around from the last 2 years, took me 6 months to pick, record, edit, etc... Over 600gb of recordings and over 300 frags recorded, the movie has around 150 frags. Final render 212gb and the compressed file over 3gb.

Frags from 6v6 mixes, pickups, scrims and officials from the last 2 years. Some frags from this season that I played in High as well. Like 2 frags from lobbies.

There's some stuff that's not exactly how I wanted but I wanted to get this finally done with so I can move on with other projects. But overall I'm happy with the work I put into it (I estimate to over 200h).

Learned SFM (kinda) in the process which was very cool to work with.

Feedback is appreciated.

#1596 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization
omniYou need the file for it to be fully removed, because TF2 will use the default inside the .vpk file they're kept in by default.

Put the mediccallerpanel.res file back in, and the best bet is to change the xpos and ypos values to something dumb, like 9999, and also the wide and tall values to 0. You could also remove the value inside "image" and also set enable to 0. I've never actually edited this panel, but I'm covering all bases here.

Lemme know.

I tried this btw with no chance, even after changing all ypos, xpos, wide, tall, enable, image. It still showed the bubbles in fact something pretty weird happened on this particular instance I was trying to record which showed even more bubble than when I recorded originally, like every player had a medic bubble or something lol

do u happen to have the original mediccallerpanel.res cuz I cant seem to find another one since I deleted the one I had.

Also wouldn't it work to load a custom blank .vpk as well?

#1592 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization

Im recording some stuff and I'm trying to disable the medic caller bubble, the file mediccallerpanel.res was already deleted in the hud folder but the bubble is still appearing, anyone knows how to remove/disable it entirely?

#264 Why it’s time to say goodbye to TF2Center in TF2 General Discussion
saamApparently the best time to implement advertising is during the biggest controversy the site has faced...

TF2center would be a great case study in some PR degree.

#18 Looking at these keyboards - any other suggestions in Hardware

I have a k90 and my only complaint is that it's too big, my own fault when I first bought it, should have got the k60 or the k70. I love this keyboard tho, and the red switches definitely feel good, wrist wrest is very comfortable and the drivers aren't too bad it seems.
